Wilson Leywantono is a composer currently based in Indonesia. His music has been performed in the UK, the Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia by many professional ensembles and performers such as Orkest de Ereprijs, New European Ensemble, Rosetta Contemporary Ensemble, Open Union, the Azalais Quartet, Hordienal Quartet, Decibel, Le Page Ensemble, the Schubert Ensemble, Thallein Plus Ensemble, Fumiko Miyachi, Mary Wiegold, Rowland Sutherland, Miriam Kitchener, etc.

EBow Fun with Strat

This is the first song on which I have used a recording of myself playing the guitar. It turned out pretty good in my opinion. I have used an EBow ‘look-alike’ called the Joyo JGE-01 Infinite Sustainer. Since the release of the Blackwater Park album by Opeth (and on several songs on the Deadwing album of Porcupine Tree) I was captivated by a particular sound that I could not quite identify. After a few years I ‘discovered’ that it was an EBow that was used on the guitar. Since then I always wanted to own such a device to play along an recreate that sound. Now I have finally used a guitar on a song with a similar device like an EBow. I used a VST by Hainbach (Landfill Totems) that I have used on more of my songs. I made some samples using the Landfill Totems VST and used these. I also used one of my go to VST’s by Spitfire Audio called Labs. On this song I have used the recordings of a Ondes Musicales. I cool instrument with a very distinctive sound. The percussive sounds also come from the Labs VST by Spitfire Audio. The song sounds more experimental than my previous work. According to some feedback it sounds a bit like The Gathering (one of my favorite bands) although that wasn’t my intention. You cannot escape influences by other artists so if it is (unintentionally and subconsciously) inspired by them; so be it. I like how this one turned out. I am curious what others think about this one. The title is an anagram by the way. It is an anagram of the most simple things imaginable and I will leave it to you to figure it out. Seeing and experiencing the world as it is today and still hoping for a better world I liked the ring of it so I chose this as the title.

Scelsi's Piano (disquiet0701)

Geordie Haley is a composer, improviser, educator and guitarist. Contributing to the creative music scenes of Fredericton NB, Toronto ONT, and now Halifax NS, Geordie has been presenting songs, rhythm based compositions and improvised music for over 25 years. 
Since returning to the Maritimes Geordie has been a featured artist in concert and festival programs by creative music presenters Upstream Music, Suddenly Listen, Canadian Music Center, The Motion Ensemble, Jazz East, Scotia Festival, Shattering the Silence Festival, and the Harvest Jazz Festival.

THRENODIES, a work for 4 musicians and 3 dancers based on Haley’s original compositions in collaboration with dancer/choreographer Susanne Chui was featured a during the 2012 Halifax Jazz Festival.

As an educator Geordie continues his practice at the NSCC Waterfront Campus Music Arts Department, teaching private lessons and instructing ensembles.
As a bandleader Geordie’s music can be heard at cd baby and on CBC RADIO 3.


idyll Mind is the artist/producer named persona created by Joshua Gough in 2012 and since 2013 now includes Don Reece as a permanent second member, introducing lyrics and vocal performances into the mix.

In the summer of 2022, my dear old friend Mick and longtime musical companion died of cancer.

Open Union is an experimental music duo made up of composer-performers Peter Bell (modular synthesiser) and Patrick Ellis (electric guitar) based between Birmingham and London.

Described by the treasured composer Howard Skempton as being, ‘sometimes subtle and unstable; sometimes rich and dense’, the duo aims to build up strong collaborative relationships to create new verbal and text based works. Their current collaborators are Christine Cornwell, Wilson Leywantono, May Chi and Paolo Griffin, with a new piece by Seán Clancy currently in the works.

The duo have performed across the UK at events such as Ealing Extranormal, AMOK, Don't Mind Control, Birmingham Modular Organisation and CODA Festival. In 2025, they supported Passepartout Duo at Centrala Space, Birmingham as part of their UK Tour, and in 2023, undertook a mini tour of The Netherlands as part of the Sounding Here concert series, where they performed at Splendor in Amsterdam and Batavierhuis in Rotterdam.

In July 2025, they will be co-hosting a portrait concert of the works by Paolo Griffin with saxophonist David Zucchi at the Hundred Years Gallery.

Ämpers@nd almost feels like music therapy to me. As Ämpers@nd I am producing (largely but not always intentionally) melancholic and dark-sounding soundscapes, ambient and occasionally some (experimental) electronic music. I would rather describe most of my music (if you can even call it that) as experiences or scenes than songs.

I create original experiential music from NOSIGNAL Multimedia Lab in Chicago. The Hard Times described my music as "creepy, haunted, but also a little bit uplifting." Prolific.

I use GeoShred to play everything that is not generated or sequenced.
