🎶 My DJ Debut at Rave Om 🎶

A proud moment for me. After 20 months of supporting and volunteering with the incredible Rave Om crew, I decided a year ago to finally pick up a set of decks and start my own musical journey.

That journey actually began all the way back in 1991, when I saw Carl Cox play at the Shirehorse in St Ives. That night, surrounded by friends and immersed in the music, something lit up inside me. From there, my love for dance music and the Rave community only grew. Over the next 4–5 years, I travelled across the UK to events like Fantazia Summertime & Castle Donnington, Universe Tribal Gathering , Vision , Perception, Dreamscape, Obsession, The Warehouse & Academy in Plymouth, Eclipse, Ministry of Sound, and so many more.

This debut set is dedicated to my best friend, Brendan—aka BadBoy—who was a DJ himself back in the ’90s until illness sadly brought his career to a stop. He always encouraged me to live life to the fullest and to follow my passion for DJing. Well Brendan, I’ve finally done it. I know you're with me in spirit. ❤️

To all the artists who’ve produced the incredible music I’ve had the honour of playing—thank you. Your work is truly inspirational and the heartbeat of this scene.

And to everyone who’s supported me over the last 12 months—thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you all. xxx

Over time, the project has expanded to incorporate a range of world electronica elements, resulting in a sound that is both innovative and eclectic.

Cuerpo Negro's sets are thoughtfully curated to take listeners on a sonic journey, weaving together cosmic melodies, tribal percussion, and hypnotic vocals into a seamless and immersive musical experience. His sets focus on progression, exploration, and experimentation.

ANIA is a Toronto/Miami based DJ and co-founder of SAMSARA.

Her sound is a blend of organic, afro, and melodic house, intutively chosen in and for the moment to take the listener on a journey. She has brought her sound all over the world - Mexico, Thailand and Miami - taking a piece of these places and weaving them into her work. Self taught and professionally trained, ANIA is also a graduate of Miami DJ Academy.

Beyond the booth, ANIA co-creates immersive experiences through SAMSARA (IG: @samsara.collective), blending electronic music, wellness, and community. She also collaborates with brands to curate sonic identities for product launches and special events, having worked with Creed fragrances, Holt Renfrew, and Universal Music Canada.
