This is a reflection of my “phygital” reality as it is of the world around me, in ways assuring, adaptive, and hopeful. Please enjoy, crittercore!!

A psycho spiritual collection of insect compellants, cultivated between life in Montreal, Philly, and NYC, with samples from my childhood home in New Cumberland, PA.

This one is for all the critters, those who are steadfast in who they have always been and of whom accept the confines of their environment and are committed to growing within it. We have the ability to deliver on both premises... and maybe chow down a juicy ass bug in the meantime.

Straddling the ambient-dance music continuum, energies on crittercore widely pivot track for track into various corners of DIY electronics. From a Microkorg vocoder ballad, to nascent Icelandic AI voice models fed 'Lorem Ipsum' text, to dark ambient (swag) drones forged entirely from Berlin birdcalls, crittercore spans my own obsession to be resourceful in both the physical and digital worlds available to us. As one who is online, fairly terminally, the unending digital landscape has heavily informed and affirmed this little sliver of hyper-reality I am so excited to share with you all.

Theres a little poem I just wrote off the top of my head. Feel like it goes well with the photo and track. Use it up folks good for practice. 

Anyways, this is a real melancholy type of track. Feels distance yet warm. Others have described it as "chill". By others I mean me... no one has heard this yet. Its exclusive... Kind of muddy, but I like it like that fam! Everything was recorded using my handy mic. The instrument you hear is a Rav Vast tongue drum layered with different effects. The main melody is just the tongue drum pitched up an octave and sped up. I also used a bassy buffalo drum as well. The key is actually F and the BPM is 140. Hope you enjoy please share with your friends and family!

This track is for anyone who would like to use it. Sample it, sing over it. Please collab! This whole track was created using my ukulele and a drum kit. Even the bassline is just the ukulele tuned down. Bpm is 98 not sure what key its in. Tried to write some lyrics for it but couldn't get a good flow. The photo was taken at the music festival "secret dreams" had a good time. This was when my friends and I were riding back to our campsite from the venue. We decided to take a little ride back instead of walking. The guy had an electric bike with a carrier that could hold about 6 people. He had the music bumpin and cool lights on. The vibes were high! Anyways, if you read all this thank you for listening please like and share it with someone in their feels. Peace <3

worked with some potent sounds on this one so it may pierce your eardrums a certain way. Probably best to not listen to it at full volume. I am still working on mixing if you can help me send me a dm. Every sound was created using samples and found sounds. The main melody and chord progression is from my handpan. Recordings of the BART, recorded in San Francisco's Powell Street Station, manipulated with AudioThing's Noises, then modulated repeatedly using Cableguys' Shaperbox. All the Shaperbox modulations used  the barcode from a packet of Walker's Shortbread Fingers to define the gates. These, depending on the effect, are then stretched between 1/16 and 32 bars.
