I’m a queer Vancouver Island DJ who likes to get down with sass & taste in every genre of music! 
I like to combine all sorts of styles of music together with some funky and wonky, and heavy sexy vibes! I also do Back to back sets with Schitzoph0nik as Sassyph0nik. I’ve thrown events under the name Sassyph0nik/Ph0nik Sound in the past! I have been DJing for around 6 years, and have played on lineups with a bunch of wonderful artists including Nokturnal Funk, Neo 1, Kermode, Ben Fox, XAM, Bryx, Woofax, DylPrickle and Wublin. I really hope you like my sassy style!

Schitzoph0nik is a gender fluid (and genre fluid), DJ and Vocalist who specializes in funk and bass, and whose focus is diversity and harmony. Mixing all sorts of styles of music together, and with a background of music theory in Jazz at VIU, and a love of Blues, Reggae, Ska, and Funk, the goal of this diverse musician has always been to blend the edges of many different musical worlds and try to bring people together through music and dance! The idea that emotion can be expressed to the audience through performance has always been at the forefront of this artist's mind, as they attempt to take you on a musical journey with their mixes.

Since 2005 I do a little show called ECLECTIX, where I present all the music I like and where I talked.. ..a LOT! ;)

Over the years, I've been with a few radio stations like bigbeat.ch, eclectix.de and evosonic.de.
Currently I'm with https://ConnectingBeats.de, second Sunday every month and https://TruSkoolBreakz.com - last Sunday of every month, 6PM (CET)

Remember when going out used to be fun? Do you prefer dancing to posing? Does your idea of dressing to impress have nothing to do with designer labels and everything to do with finding a gorilla costume in the perfect shade of purple? Bored of identikit ‘edgy’ nights called Fraktion, Elastik, and other ironically misspelled words? Well despair no more because THE HONG KONG PING PONG CLUB is here to restore your faith in the weekends!

During the late 00’s in the farthest flung reaches of the South West a group of friends were brought together by a mutual love of good music. With roots in Funk, Hip Hop, Big Beat and Breaks they had a no holds barred attitude
to their tune selection, playing a multi genre smorgasbord each bringing their own flavour to the mix.

Refusing to be pigeonholed and taking inspiration from nights like ‘The Heavenly Social’ and ‘The Big Beat Boutique’ ‘The Hong Kong Ping Pong Club’ was conceived. They rapidly gained a loyal party loving following at their spiritual home and residency ‘The Watermans’ in Falmouth and were soon playing host to the great and good within the scene.

Thrusting themselves in to the limelight with the infamous ‘Mixtape’ series the next logical step was to take the show on the road and bookings for booths in clubs and stages in fields quickly followed.

They have become a main stay at Shindig Festival, Shambala, Leopallooza and The Great Estate and have recently started to once again promote their own night’s back in Falmouth at The Underland Bar.

They love The Hong Kong Ping Pong Club and if you are inclined to dance like a drunken-hands-in-the-air Viking to bootie shakingly good music you’ll like it too!
