Annabelle Goodwill's Rock Anthem is strategically used in this song to symbolize Aniyah stepping out of her innocence into divine wrath. Jasper Duskfiel is singing this song, Aniyah is finally realizing she cannot be nice always.

She sheds her skin and steps into the real world, utilizing her unfiltered anger she never wanted to show.

Aniyah is choosing, herself, to shed blood (more like destroy a city. She doesn't kill anyone.) This is done for others to realize they were wrong. Aniyah takes theology seriously, she's a scholar. This means that she understands how people should be, the law of life, and the basis of reality.

At Fresh Press, July 30 Summer of Soul attendees can choose a one-of-a-kind thrifted tee from 
Goodwill – while supplies last – customize it with original artwork by a Milwaukee-based artist and screenprint it on-site with the help of Milwaukee Oats. Attendees can modify the shirt for a fit that’s all their own – it’s secondhand style that celebrates self-expression and Milwaukee’s vibrant community.
