When you wake up from the dream, reality seems boring and depressing, but then you meet someone who inspires you and instructs you in the art of having lucid dreams. You become two oneironauts and travel through sound through the astral planes that are hidden during wakefulness. Love becomes an adventure when emptiness is embraced.

A love letter to the Pacific Northwest and the intimate connectedness of humans to the natural world.

The first song is dedicated to my mother who left her home to flee the Genocide during the Khmer Rouge occupation. 

 In Khmer, the translation of the phrase “Chlong Tonle” is “to cross the river.” A phrase the elders used to describe childbirth, similar to the dangerous journey of crossing a large river, in that you never know when you might lose your life in the depths and fast-flowing waters of the river. Some would make it, others would drown.
