"When I See the Hummingbird" by Dr. Elliot Lach is a tender folk ballad that captures the quiet magic of spring's return. With gentle acoustic melodies and heartfelt lyrics, the song unfolds like a walk through a blooming garden after April rains. The first sighting of a hummingbird becomes a symbol — a tiny, fluttering herald of life waking up all around us.

When I See the Hummingbird

Super excited to share this truly beautiful journey of the Hummingbird. This is one of my favourites so far! I personally love every single track to bits! This was a very special all ages dance on Mother's Day. Such a treasure to witness so many little humans and parents coming to dance. More to come for sure ;)

In our sacred space, we will dance the path of the Hummingbird, a divine messenger of joy, beauty, and resilience.
With every beat, you are invited to embody the hummingbird’s lightness of being, sipping the nectar of the present moment, hovering between earth and sky.
She reminds us to seek sweetness amidst stillness, to move with grace, and to return again and again to the heart.

🦅"May We All Fly Like Eagles" 🦅 This song holds a very special place in my heart, carrying me back to countless beautiful moments of singing with soul tribe friends around the fire, drumming, dancing, and chanting together in the raw, within the sacred spaces alongside our Grandmother Aya plant medicines and sound healing ceremonies.

This song first came to me after my car accident in 2008. It was during those four years of healing recovering from a broken jaw, TBI injuries, and the challenges of being unconscious for three days that this prayer song became a source of strength, healing, and resilience for me.

The song is an Indigenous prayer song, its original writer unknown, yet it has traveled across the world and been sung in many different ways. For me, it came through as a calling to add the heartbeat of my buffalo drum, and deeper beats, so that it may be shared more widely & played at conscious gatherings where people can drum, spread their wings & soar while dancing, and remembering the medicine of the Eagle: Rising above all obstacles and flying higher 🦅

Through this song, I also call upon other winged allies who have guided me on my journey—Condor, Hummingbird, Butterfly, Dove, and the Phoenix. Each carries a message of transformation, beauty, and courage, and together they weave a prayer for unity and love.
I offer this song as a prayer that we, as one soul united human family, continue to rise together in these times, looking at life through the eyes of the Eagle - Condor, with vision, precision, intuition, strength, and compassion.
