Streaming media is multimedia that is constantly received by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a provider. The verb to stream identifies the process of delivering or obtaining media in this manner.[clarification needed] Streaming refers to the delivery method of the medium, instead of the medium itself. Live streaming is the delivery of Internet content in real-time much as live television broadcasts content over the airwaves with a television signal. Live internet streaming takes a form of source media (e.g. a video camera, an audio tracks interface, screen capture software), an encoder to digitize the content, a media publisher, and a content delivery network to distribute and deliver the content. Live streaming does not need to be recorded at the origination point, although it frequently is.

Streaming is an option to file datvloading, a process where the end-user obtains the entire file for this content before watching or listening to it. Through streaming, an end-user can use their media player to get started on playing digital video or digital sound content before the complete file has been transmitted. The word streaming media can connect with media other than video and audio, such as live closed captioning, ticker tape, and real-time text, which are considered streaming text.

Lucky for us, Copenhagen-born, Bologna-based selector Oscar Hugo has cooked up a slow burning love potion to hug our last brain cell and help process it all. Expect layers upon layers of dreamy synths and sensual melodies.

1. What was your inspiration for the mix?

Music with a lot of emotion has always appealed to me, since the scene has been more focused on high pace, high energy for some time now I have found it a bit harder to connect emotionally with the different styles I hear around. But you can always find something for your taste in Copenhagen if you look long enough, which is what I love about my city and what keeps inspiring me.

2. How do you think your local music scene has shaped your sound as an artist / approach to nightlife?

I draw inspiration from all the DJs in town, and it's good to see that there is still room for a lot of different styles. I especially admire all the crews that keep cultivating the scene with limited resources bringing fresh kicks and claps to the people <3 

I tried to keep the mix simple with some long blends and simple transitions, it's still something I'm trying to perfect since I'm used to playing disco where my transitions tend to be shorter. I have never seen myself as a good transition DJ but more of a selector. My love for DJing will always come from the endless joy of digging and the emotion we share when the tune is right.
