Dialectics (n.) – The art of investigating or discussing the truth of opinions. The discourse between two people holding opposing viewpoints view but trying to establish a common truth through reasoned discussion.

Born out of the renowned, best-selling Yin : Yang label concept, musical discourse is brought to life through the meticulous choices of Tripp Baronner – DJ, curator and full-time member of the Proton team. Presenting “Dialectics,” a monthly show airs on Proton Radio and DI.fm showcasing the finest underground music talent in two contrasting but inextricably linked hours.

Part 1 sees Yin thematically represented while Yang is juxtaposed through Part 2. Intimately interconnected while fluid by design, resident hosts alternate and interchange with guest artists to create a dynamic dialectical discourse.

L Ι Ν D Λ R O M Λ Ν Λ Ζ Ζ Ι  is a nomadic DJ and producer who expresses herself through sound and tells the story of her life through beats in all forms. She has been collecting music for over two decades from every corner of the world she has traveled that she is now incorporating in her creative DJ sets. 
Linda can count 20+ years as a DJ first in her native Stockholm and later in Paris that was her home for 13 years while playing at the capitals clubs and events such as Hôtel Costes, Le Baron, Favst, Raspoutine and Le Carmen. Parallel she developed nightlife concepts and worked in PR and events. 

Linda is since 2019 the music curator and resident DJ of bohemian resort Boho Club Marbella where she has been in charge of creating the musical identity, sound design & DJ bookings. 

She released her EP the Beginning Of eternity with Cafe De Anatolia in June 2023 and is currently working on a new EP to be released soon among with 4 singles together with Walther music on the label Music for dreams. 

She also held a residency at Coya Marbella the whole season of 2023 and has held prestigious DJ residencies for over two decades in: Tulum, Ibiza, Marbella, Paris and Stockholm, sharing the decks with;  Elif, Unders, The Soul Brothers, Oveous, Eli Fola, J Pool, Lemurian, D'Witches, MoM & Alvaro Suarez to name a few.

Linda is also a regular in Ibiza and has been coming to the island since 2010, She played at Sunset Ashram every season since 2018 and she did the closing together with The legendary Bahramji in 2020. She also regularly plays at places like IT Ibiza and Vybe club.  

Since 2019 she is dividing her time between Tulum and Spain playing and headlining all main venues such as: Soulful festival Tulum, Tulum Crypto Fest, Music Under The Stars New Years edition with Pourangi, Ten Ibiza, Vagalume, IT Tulum, Gitano Beach & Gitano, Sunset Ashram (Ibiza) or Boho Experience with Camilo Franco. 

After three very successful seasons in Tulum headlining both Tulum Crypto fest and Ekumal Eko Fair 2023 she has been one of Tulum’s most booked DJ's in her genre, she is going back for a forth season in Tulum which is already fully booked and with an exciting new residency once a week at Selina’s downtown Tulum. 

Linda plays a perfect blend of electronic music merging sounds of organic & deep house with layers of melodic, afro house, electronica and indie dance. 
Her sets are a journey from mystical, feminine to uptempo & clubby, always with high vibrations to elevate and move you from deep inside.

Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 4,000+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity. 

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.

Alex is from Gloucestershire, England who has a true passion for Deep, Organic, Melodic and progressive House music. He is, without a doubt, one of the djs who most contributed to the evolution of the dance scene in Portugal.
Beside him, were names like Underworld, Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez, Dj Vibe, Deep Dish, François K, Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Dave Clark, Groove Armada, among many others.
But more than the names, was and it is his work that stands out before everyone.
Beginning his career in the 1980s with residency at the Plateau (Official) and progression to the mythical "Alcântara Mar", he ended up, give life to the first album to be recorded by a club in Portugal: “The House of Rhythm”.

It was with this record that he achieved what was never achieved before, the first gold record in national electronic music.
In addition, there are numerous milestones associated with different projects, such as Delicado, Crystal Symphony, LL Project and DarkMountainGroup, a co-project with Alex Santos and whose first single, “Lose Control”, reached the number 1 from British DJ Magazine.
When in the mid-90s the first volume of the series of mixed compilations of the mythical Alcântara-Mar club was launched, Luís Leite was already a strong name in our club scene and a pioneer of dance music in Portugal. With a great impact of the compilation and his entry in the first place of the sales tops, Luís becomes part of one, at the time still small, group of DJs coming from the underground who managed to enter the Portuguese mainstream without compromising his music. It was 1996 and the pirate cassettes of the "Alcântara" CDs changed hands in schools and on the streets in large numbers, as if they belonged to Nirvana or Guns & Roses. Teenagers pissed off their parents to wear rings, shave their hair and blow their allowance up in Jimmy Doyle boots like ravers did.
With a mix of American hard house, b-sides of European trance, some English techno and new national production, Luís Leite built the monster that would become the sound of "Alcântara-Mar": naked, fast, oscillating between clubby exuberance and industrial austerity - with an undeniable crossover potential. Also with his production he created some of the greatest classics in our dance music; everyone who grew up in the 90's recognizes "Khine #3" when they hear it, and "Work In Progress" is not only one of the best moments at Kaos Records but it still retains an elegance that makes it modern. In collaboration with Alex S (Urban Dreams) he gave us the Delicado project in the early 2000s, where he exchanged electronic hardness for jazzy influences. Later,  also with Alex, he created one of the biggest international hits of the house of his time with the project Darkmountaingroup, released under the label Buzzin 'Fly by Ben Watt (Everything But The Girl). His dedication and genius ear are only comparable to his humility and work of spirit, typical of a time when DJs were just employees.
From then on, invitations to record mixed cds hadn’t stopped.
