This week's guest mix is Jinjé. 
As a founding member of the Leeds-based experimental band Vessels - an act acclaimed for their ability to defy categorisation - Lee Malcolm is no stranger to breaking the boundaries of genre. With his solo project, Jinjé, he delves into atypical sonic wanderings that navigate between acoustic and electronic, synthetic and organic, employing a learned ear for the fusion of seemingly disparate elements. Following on from his MESH debut back in 2021, Jinjé returns with Escape from Luna, a four-track EP expanding further on the infinite sonic worlds of his solo production work. For this latest release on MESH, he hones in on these moments of coalescence, fusing various stylistic pieces together with an infectious sense of optimism and an open mind.

Wandering through the hills it was easy to forget that somewhere down there was a whole world. Dancing amidst the clouds was far easier, far simpler and a far more peaceful way to spend ones time.

Occasionally he would dip beneath the fluffy white ceiling to survey the landscape. It was just as chaotic as before...

He was happy up here, lost in the density of the altitude and the fog.

Everything was slower, softer and warm.

Auntie Flo is invited to remix a track by Jinjé & A Brief Utopia. He delivers in style with an impressive array and flurry of percussion which will do wonders and create mystical moments on discerning dancefloors.
