America Psychosis: The Democracy Dance Dysfunction (An Oratorio) is a symphonic pop manifesto — a 21st-century requiem for reason, remixed for the dance floor. Akiva David fuses Baroque oratorio, 1970s disco, 1980s glam, hip-hop, and Philip Glass minimalism into a fever-dream of beats, choirs, and political satire.

Across movements like “Democracy Messiah,” “Institutional Utility Obsolescence,” “Taxes, Money & Bribes,” “Legal Illusions, Power Delusions,” and “Will the White House Ever Be the Same?” the album transforms the language of governance into melody, protest, and transcendence. It’s both hymn and hallucination — Handel by way of Hollywood, and Bach through Dolby Atmos.

This is the sound of freedom dancing on its own reflection: seductive, intellectual, spiritual, and defiantly human.
