Are You Afraid of Your Intuition?

I am not a doctor nor a trained nutritionist, but I have worked on over 20,000 bodies in the last 25 years, and I believe inflammation is one of the biggest causes of unexplainable ailments in the body.

Although we attribute most inflammation to certain foods, I believe it’s something else.

It isn’t almonds or nuts or alcohol or anything else you think it is…

I believe the leading cause of inflammation is stress.

The unresolved traimas, the incessant fight or flight, the constant triggers, the bit feeling safe, the fast paced life, the environmental triggers… those things cause far more stress, which increases cortisol and doesn’t allow the body or the mind to heal.

Living in chronic fight or flight without knowing it could be the root cause of most of your ailments and you can’t heal it with a salad or a green smoothie – you can’t change it with a prescription or a doctors visit – you have to shift it from the inside out and become the expert of your own body and life.

In this day and age of 5 second attention spans, we are being called to look inside, slow down, rest, and create a different kind of relationship with the problems in your life.

The Leading Cause of Inflammation

Life is a crazy rollercoaster of ups and downs, and sometimes, we can feel its effects, but the reality is that if you align your energy with your truth, life is always happening for you.

When you aren’t sure of your choices, feel like things are a maybe, or try to force things to happen, it’s not the right time or the right choice.

When you make big life choices in the direction of your truth, life will test or try to derail you.

But you know better than anyone else what your truth is. Other people may not understand your choices or agree with you, but all that matters is how your choices make you feel. If they feel good, then that is your answer.

Most things will work out for you if you trust the process and how things make you feel.

Your truth will always set you free.

Getting Clear On Your Truth

Welcome to a raw cut on the emotion of anger. This might ruffle some feathers, but it is only my account, and my experience is based on my own life experiences.

I grew up in a household where anger was the normal way to express frustration. Eventually, anger turned to aggression, which turned to violence, which turned to explosive bouts of abuse. Without knowing it, I learned to do absolutely everything I could to avoid anger. If I upset someone, I either defended, fought back, or completely shut down. It was my survival mechanism.

It wasn’t until recently that I realized this mode of operating was extremely destructive when it came to my intimate relationships.

Anger is a catalyst for forward momentum and while women usually resort to tears and sadness when they have emotions they need to release, men tend to resort to anger to cover up their fears, frustrations, and insecurities.

But anger gets a bad rap. But what if anger is just suppressed emotion that needs to be released and the way to get it out is to express it. If anger builds up then it can turn to violence, aggression, and abuse.

So, if we want healthy relationships, we need to discover a way to allow anger to be expressed, released and transformed.

How Anger Can Heal Relationships

Whether we know it or not, most people are stuck in some form of fight or flight. From relationships to finances to physical health or your relationship with your body, it keeps the cortisol levels high, which means the body can’t do what it naturally does… which is to heal.

Trauma lives in the tissues, the blood, the bones, the cells and the veins and it shows up in all these weird ways.

Talking to release this trauma only engrains the pattern deeper into the body, causing the body to hang onto excess weight and store it.

Food as fat, break down the body’s health, and it also breaks down in areas of your life, which means it’s harder to break the unhealthy stuck patterns with traditional methods.

When you give yourself permission to tap into the innate wisdom of the body, you can heal, transform, and release lifetimes of stuck trauma.

You do not have to be defined by your past, and you can find any way to freedom.
