Step Kind is a poetic invitation to sip joy from the every-day. I wrote this whilst sitting beneath my favourite wattle tree, after a hectic work week. My aim was to capture the joyous beauty of presence: golden light, tranquil skies. The turn is a quiet rebellion to step away from the pressing work week & over the invisible threshold into the happy returns of kindness and peace.

Manda Patel is an inspiring teacher and speaker, who has dedicated her life to studying the simple, spiritual truth that lives behind the philosophy of the Brahma Kumaris. She is based in the Global Retreat Centre, near Oxford, where she has played a pivotal role for many years.

But always tapping on my shoulder was the desire to write.  So I kept at it, just never doing anything with it.
