BIOG:
I've been involved with electronic music in Liverpool for over two decades. Back then I was resident at techno club night Voodoo and co-promoter/resident at T-Funkshun. I subsequently started releasing my tracks from 2002 onwards; producing under my own name and pseudonym Casio Royale. I'm also a member of Scouse live techno group Phantom Planet Outlaws with Binny and John Heckle.  My music has been featured on record labels from around the globe; Liverpool, Manchester, London, Glasgow, Dublin, Belfast, Berlin, Athens, Chicago, Singapore.

Club appearances include Tresor Berlin, Bangface Weekender, I Love Acid, Tensile, Jerome Hill’s DON’T, White Hotel Manchester, La Cheetah and Boiler Room at Sub Club, Glasgow.

Jamie B is a record collector & DJ from the UK residing in Sydney, Australia. He's been collecting vinyl for over 3 decades with an eclectic range of influences including Punk, Dub, Hip Hop, Electro, Disco, House, Techno & everything in between.

In the early 90’s, Jamie fell in love with the sounds of Electro, UK Bleep & Bass & Detroit Techno. Inspired by DJ's such as Dave Clarke, Andrew Weatherall, Laurent Garnier & Jeff Mills, he began crafting his skills & playing gigs around London. Today his style favours Deep House, Techno & Electro sounds, with a strong focus on mixing things up & dropping curveballs to keep the dancefloor on its toes.
 
Alongside fellow crate digger, Raffi Irie Lovechild, Jamie hosts SOKA LOKA MOKI, a monthly night of eclectic sounds where you’ll hear the likes of Chaka Khan, Kraftwerk & Prince, rubbing shoulders with A Tribe Called Quest, Larry Heard & Moodymann.

Jamie is also a member of GOT MUSIC, a convergence of DJs & artists hosting regular events in Sydney exploring the deeper pockets of electronic music.

The Swiss, British and Australian multinational has been exploring machine-made music since the late 1990s, recreating in his own way off the classic sounds emanating out of Detroit, Chicago and London on an old MC-303 and Juno 106 synthesiser. His sounds continue today to be influenced by the House, Acid, Techno, Electro and Breakbeat music genres prominent in the US and UK scenes. Through the merging of the gritty with the soulful via both old analog and new digital tools, his music always delivers a raw but emotive touch.

His studio is fitted out with a small collection of classic Roland units, helping him keep true to the authentic sound he loves of the 303s, 909s and 808s. Evident in his own releases for others and on his own imprint Hummingbird, which has gained him regular support from a growing list of industry DJs such as Laurent Garnier, DJ Rolando, Vince Watson, Danny Tenaglia, Roy Davis Jr., DJ Sprinkles, DJ Bone, Ian Pooley, Fred P, nd_Baumecker, DVS1, Colin Dale, Gerd, Marcel Dettmann, Slam, Tintonton Duvante, Passarani, Trevor Rockcliffe, Truncate, Terry Frances, Quarion, Takaaki Itoh, Vincent Neumann, Alexi Delano, Tensal as well as being featured on radio - NTS, KissFM.
