Joseph is back in Australia (after touring with Lydia Lunch last year), playing Wollongong at the Music Lounge on Saturday, and joined Lindsay McDougall to talk about connecting that amusing/emotional divide, booking gigs as a way of forcing creativity, and his German opera about having a romantic encounter with a ghost.
