The third instalment in our mix series comes from a close friend of the label, petar_tverkal, a Warsaw-based DJ and producer turning heads with her high-energy, trance-infused sound.

After first coming across her sets, it was clear her sound was a natural fit for Basement. We instantly connected over a mutual love for the same artists, labels, and a shared taste for fast grooves, strange textures, and progressive-leaning club sounds.
Starting her journey as a DJ before diving into production, petar_tverkal has quickly built a reputation for blending progressive house, eurodance, and fast groove techno. 

Her debut EP on German label Hyperrave blends hard groove and hypnotic techno, followed by a progressive house release on UK imprint Labonnemusique and, most recently, eurodance cuts via PULZAR.
In Warsaw, she co-founded WOX—a platform for workshops, lectures, and events supporting women and queer communities—and launched UWA, a night dedicated to supporting beginner DJs.

𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀 @heridadj -has been active on the Silesian music scene since 2023. She has lived in Katowice for almost a decade, and it was the city’s lively cultural life that sparked her interest in electronic music. This eventually led her to start DJing at Club CEL, where you can regularly hear her sets.

She enjoys digging for second-hand records, especially ones that capture the sound and vibe of the 90s. Herida likes to explore different styles of progressive dance music, combining elements of tribal, breaks, and acid.

In the vinyl-only mix she prepared, you’ll hear a selection of records from her favorite producers.

Bertha not only inspires the people around her with her positive energy and penchant for creativity on the dance floor but also on the decks. With her feeling for the music and the vibe in the room, the Hamburg native develops an atmosphere of a pleasant get-together and leads those who love dancing into a world of the fantastic. She herself describes her sound geographically: early education in Hamburg, teenage years in MV, garnished with Berlin and Leipzig sprinkles. Bertha plays whatever moves her heart.
