Aus die Maus! Festval season is over and I could not be more happy and thankful for what 2024 had to offer. Playing 7 festivals (3 solo, 3 as @schaklelixir and 1 B2B @ringanddorf) was intense, beautiful and fun as fuck.

💭 Das diesjährige Mystic Creatures Festival war zum zweiten Mal ein durch und durch magisches Ereignis. Auf einer abgeschiedenen Insel in den schönen Weiten Polens trafen sich knapp 7000 Menschen, um von Donnerstag bis Montag gemeinsam die Schönheit des Seins zu zelebrieren. Wache Geister und bewusste Geschöpfe. Kreaturen der Nacht die auch bei Tag gern ihr Antlitz offenbarten. In einer Festivalumgebung, die sich im Vergleich zum ersten Jahr noch einmal eindrucksvoll weiterentwickelt hat. Die Stages ausgefeilt, neue etabliert und noch mehr Details für Auge, Geist und Seele ergänzt. Es war uns wieder einmal eine große Freude, diese lange Reise anzutreten und wir freuen uns schon sehr auf das nächste Jahr.

Es gibt diese unerwarteten Momente, die einen völlig aus der Bahn werfen – genau das passierte mir mitten in meinem Set. Ohne jede Vorwarnung fiel die Anlage aus und brachte mich völlig durcheinander.

Ich war erst unsicher, ob ich das Set überhaupt hochladen, vielleicht neu aufnehmen oder einfach bleiben lassen sollte. Doch am Ende dachte ich mir: Keep it real. Also gibt es jetzt den Mitschnitt – leicht gekürzt und mit einer kurzen Pause in der Mitte, aber dafür in all seinen Höhen und Tiefen, so wie es wirklich war.

Es hat mir unglaublich viel bedeutet, dass ihr trotz des Ausfalls geblieben seid, dass viele von euch zurückgekommen sind und mir so viel positive Energie gegeben habt. Ihr habt mir wieder einmal gezeigt, warum ich diese Szene so sehr liebe!

Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an meine @MITDIRFestival Crew, die sofort zur Stelle war, mich unterstützt und jedes technische Problem aufgespürt und gelöst hat, und an Audiophil, die blitzschnell die Technik ausgetauscht haben, damit ich mein Set fortsetzen konnte. Ihr habt mir das Gefühl gegeben, dass ich da oben nicht alleine stand. Das war ein sehr emotionaler Moment für mich, und ich bin euch unendlich dankbar dafür. ❤️‍🩹

Danke an alle, die da waren und mich in diesem Moment aufgefangen haben. Ihr seid großartig und gebt mir immer wieder die Motivation, weiterzumachen!

Also, genug der Sentimentalitäten – viel Spaß beim Set! Bis bald!

Motshabi has roots in South Africa and Luko stems from Poland. These two vines have now intertwined in Germany and are a Berlin-based duo. This project was born at the Garbicz pre-party in 2024 and since then, continues to bloom. Their style encompasses a wide array spanning from deep house, afro house, minimal to progressive.

MUSIC
Lisa Filou likes moody basslines, melodic breaks, sexy vocals and some quite nasty drops. Her approach to making music is very sensitive, thoughtful and context driven which is why her sets take you on a unique journey every time.

STORY
After discovering a passion for electronic music while living in Paris, curiosity for more brought Lisa to the techno capital Berlin in 2016. There she tangled paths with her music and artist collective Ram Schakl. Since her debut in 2018, she played the floors and stages of some of Europe‘s finest clubs and festivals. 
In 2020 and as a new projects, she started producing and founded the DJ duo ELIXIR together with Lex Ring of Ring & Dorf. She joined the Mystic Tales agency in 2021.

Naicet sounds like „nice set“ and has caused some confusion and funny situations by the dance floor. But it is her actual name. Being half Mexican and half German the name comes from the language of the Maya, meaning „dreaming next to …“. In contrast to that, her sound isn’t quite dreamy but can rather be described as drifty, dark but melodic. Originating from Hip Hop and RnB, Naicet discovered a fast growing passion for electronic music in her early twenties in Berlin and found her way behind the decks in 2020 beneath the Mystic Creatures event series. Her energetic sets have reached several German clubs and festivals but also international stages.

In the depth of music you close your eyes. You close your eyes to open your heart. You open your heart to give in to the strength of floating spaces of music. Welcome to the sound of Just Emma. The duo manages to make you drift from reality to a fictional journey into a different world. For more than four years Alex and Saskia have been part of the electronic music scene, spreading their driving, deep, hence melodic and playful sound focusing on one message their music reveals to every single person: love! While Saskia‘s musical skills developed during early childhood piano lessons, Alex made first contact with electronic music with his “Minimal Lounge“ solo project. Releasing on labels such as Katermukke, Sol Selectas, 3000Grad and Connaisseur Recordings it is their own imprint Underyourskin Records that has been causing a buzz lately and on which Just Emma releases their dark and melodic interpretation of electronic music. Therefore the duo prefers to play the early morning hours to attract the crowd with an ocean of diverse sounds.

Lili Hauser - a young promoter, DJ and visual artist from the forests around Poznań. A graduate of fine arts at Aberystwyth University, Wales. She owes her roots to a Polish-German mix of genes.
She started her adventure with music at the age of 4, performing on the stage of the Musical Theater in Poznań and the Poznań Opera. Although today her style today is characterised by oriental sounds, the real inspiration to play started at Drum'n'Bass parties in the UK. The period of the pandemic turned out to be a great opportunity to pursue the decks and not long after she took her first DJ steps at her beloved Przelot Bar in Poznań. It was there that she got her first series "Lil Thursdays".
In 2021, she officially played her first set in Projekt LAB, with which she is currently strongly associated thanks to GAYA events (her cycle), which are very popular in Poznań and beyond. GAYA is an exact representation of Lili’s soul. The creation of a magical lands and atmosphere is what she loves to do.
The DJ has already had the opportunity to stand behind the decks in such places as: Nurt, Serce, Schron, Rewiry, Święty Spokój, Piekło nad Niebem, HUB, Splot Słoneczny, Opium Labirynt, House Tęczowa i LAS Festival. She also had several international bookings in Berlin (DE), Saranda and Ksamil (AL) and Malta.
Her bond with nature is clearly visible in what she creates. Her style is also dominated by orientalism. In addition to eastern, organic sounds, you can also hear beautiful emotional vocals during the sets. Her favourite musical directions are: House, Afro House, Organic House, Indie Dance, Tech House, Downtempo and many more.
