Releasing from the archive a soundtrack mix created for a special performance art show Sensual Distancing curated by @j_eden featuring a range of amazing queer artists sharing intimate lockdown reflections. 

I enjoyed creating this soundtrack mix to flow through performances including a slow ambient start, which transitioned into a reworked blend of FKA Twigs + Headie One 'Don't Judge Me' with Octo Octa 'Come Closer' dancefloor energy.

Diving head first into unfamiliar sounds, Rave Mom is constantly expanding her knowledge of genre-defying grooves through her peculiar combination of organic atmospheric percussions, heady grounding basslines, and evolving synths.

Originally from the Bay Area, she picked up on her passion for DJing while living in Amsterdam where she was quickly inspired by the distinctive European night scene. There she contained a consistent love for IDM, UK bass, breaks, and darker techno escapes, while adding elements from her deeply rooted and flowing California melodies, defining a style of her own.

Having gained a residency at Feed Amsterdam, a Restaurant and Soundbar, she entertained diners and cocktail hour dancers during frequent brunch and Dinner service parties with smoother selectors beyond the typical dance floor expectation. Eventually, she cofounded a radio show called Upstairs Radio Box, where she created a space for conceptual freedom to mix music without limit, adding more diversity to her creative process.

Klaus Benedek grew up in a small town near Vienna. His interest in electronic music began during the 90s techno hype. He spent hours watching video clips on MTV and viva and thus gaining knowledge about electronic music. In 2004, he began teaching himself to produce. Gathering his inspiration wherever he could, he began collecting 12" vinyl records the same year and 2 years later got his first dj-gigs. From 2008 till 2010 he was one of the resident DJs at the MNML Thursdays in the Camera Club. In 2012 he started with Alex Kolodziej the event-series Tellerbetrieb. Currently he finds most of his inspiration in Chicago House, Deep House, Disco and Breakbeat. After releases on labels like Petrol Dollar, Subversaal, rekooda, Soul Shift Music, Clean and Dirty Recordings and tanzbar, Klaus launched his own label forTunea in 2014.

Colour Carver is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, broadcaster and colour facilitator from London. Her signature sound is spacious and deep, spanning the bass spectrum from atmospheric drivers to liquid d&b, via sensual electronica, city wave, and leftfield trips. 

True to her name, Colour Carver is a colour expert and founder of Colour Your City, which uses the power of colour to transform space, connect community and ecology, activate agency, support interdisciplinary creativity, and improve wellbeing. She is the creatrix of COLOURWORXX too, a multi-media exploration of colour to enrich life.

Colour Carver has shared sonics on Netil Radio, Threads, Margate Radio and Noods Radio. Passar da pista de dança para a cabine do DJ foi um caminho natural para Fiervo (AKA Fernando Iervolino). Sua paixão por música e pela noite o fez trocar as pistas paulistanas pelos clubs Europeus. Estudou na Academy Of Contemporary Music, em Londres, e trouxe na bagagem – além de muitos discos – sets que investem nas variações da house, nos novos caminhos da disco, em música eletrônica com gostinho underground. Seu som moderno e sofisticado o levou a se apresentar na versão brasileira do Creamfields Festival, após ficar em primeiro lugar no concurso de novos talentos da revista Mixmag. A mesma publicação o incluiu em sua seção “DJs para se ficar de olho”, em uma de suas edições. Outros festivais no currículo de Fiervo são o Popload Gig, onde fez a abertura para o show da banda inglesa Metronomy e a versão brasileira do The Creators Project. Também passou por clubs como D-Edge, Vegas e Bar Secreto, onde atualmente organiza a festa Mezcla, projeto mensal que toca junto do DJ Fabio Spavieri. No final de 2011, Fiervo foi eleito como uma das revelações musicais do ano pela revista eletrônica Burn. Além das discotecagens, Fiervo mantém seu blog (www.fiervo.com), espaço onde fala sobre as músicas que ama e entrevista gente de quem é fã: Kim Ann Foxman (Hercules & Love Affair), Midnight Magic (NY), Julian Sanza (2020 Soundsystem)… Atualmente, Fiervo também tem se dedicado a produção musical e trabalha em faixas próprias.
