This song is one I came up with in my car, wrote the lyrics... then lost them. I did remember the refrain: "You are enough. You fill my cup." I decided to write a new song from scratch around those two sentences, inspired by my wife.

On the day I finished it, I met my wife as she got home. "Dinner's ready, but have a dance with me." I slow danced to it with her in the kitchen. She smiled all week.

Michael McCrae has been performing, writing and recording since he was 15 years old. Growing up, he first recognized his talent for singing and music after he was selected to perform a soulful solo for his high school chorus concert. After this experience, Mike quickly recognized that he was most “at home” on stage and whenever possible, he would listen to many different genres of music: Pop, R&B, Gospel and Country. Each of these genres influenced Mike’s heartfelt singing and songwriting style.
Over the years many have come to recognize and take interest in his talent, including: Ric Wake, legendary music producer Walter Afanasieff, Rodney Jerkins, R. Kelly, and others. Michael was recently featured singing in concert with Stevie Wonder during his Autumn Night Tour. Mike also toured with was a part of the original cast for the NAACP award winning gospel play, "A Good Man is Hard to Find".  He has appeared performing on numerous television shows such as: Showtime at the Apollo, The Tyra Banks show, and the Tom Joyner Show. Mike also has a great sense of humor and demonstrated his comedic talents when he competed and won three challenge rounds on MTV's "Yo Momma". He considers each of the experiences a great privilege and thanks God for blessing him with the talent and opportunity. Lately, he has been staying busy splitting his time between his North Carolina hometown of Wilmington, and Los Angeles, CA. While living in LA, Mike had a chance meeting with Bob Marley’s son Rohan who introduced him to music producer Damon Elliott three years ago. After writing and recording several pop R&B songs with Damon, he has been collaborating steadily with various music producers.

Michael recently had his first Warner Music release in Europe that quickly became a top 10 on the dance charts with DJ Kenn Colt called "Feels Like a River".

In addition to Mike’s enormous passion for music, he is a talented voiceover artist, tv host, emcee, actor, and improv comedian. Born and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina, Mike has a B.A. in Communications from the University of North Carolina. He maintains the attitude that if you want to live your dream, you gotta give it everything you’ve got. Other than that, Michael loves root beer, spending time with his family, and going to the beach.

Al has been playing guitar and composing songs for most of his life. Only in his recent history has recording and producing the music come to reality. "A home studio has been my direction for some time. To be able to create a piece of music and develop it through to the end has been such a totally satisfying experience".
 
His studio may be modest, from industry standards, but it's efficient enough to produce an excellent quality sound. "It's probably the most challenging part of creating music. It's one thing to come up with an idea and even hear it between your ears, but to follow it through from a production standpoint and keep that same idea alive is very challenging. Quite often a song will take on a life of it's own. You never really know where it's going. Some times you guide it, some times you just follow it".

Al plays electric, acoustic and bass guitars as well as some keyboard. Drums are produced from a Zoom RhythmTrak 234.  He records to a BR1600 digital recorder and uploads to Cakewalk for production.
