7 years in the making (and the 24th release on her own label) Paramida's debut EP is here. This huge 12” contains two never heard before cuts, ‘Dream Ritual’ and ‘French House 2000’, backed up by deadly remixes from the Octo Octa & Eris Drew and Youandewan, and in ritualistic style, is being released in a divine ceremony coinciding with the lunar cycle. Intentions have been set.

‘Ostgut Ton | Fünfzehn + 1’ is a commemorative compilation celebrating 16 years of Ostgut Ton – and the first glimpses of light at the end of a long dark tunnel for parent club Berghain.

Originally planned for release in 2020, the music focuses on the interwoven nature of the label and the club in its multitude of different spaces and musical facets. Ostgut Ton artists and close affiliates worked together in pairs to make music dedicated to five different floors, each represented by a specific 12" vinyl. The result is a diverse selection of sometimes functional, other times more abstract sonic tributes; musical homages to spaces they have both influenced and been influenced by.

With the pandemic having forced the club to close temporarily, the collaborative nature of the 5x12" boxset represents an attempt to transcend varying degrees of isolation and to wrestle with memories of music and space that had been inaccessible. But certainly not forgotten.

Panorama Bar resident and Love On The Rocks label head Paramida joins us for the 92nd edition of the Phonica Mix Series. 

Since moving to Berlin in 2010, Paramida has since become a key figure in the cities ever-expanding electronic music scene. In 2014 she launched her Love On The Rocks label which has seen releases from Massimiliano Pagliara, Telephones, Fantastic Man, Elles, Violet, Alex Kassian and more.  

Having spent five years working at Oye Records, Paramida is certainly no stranger to digging. Each of her varied DJ sets brings a new beacon of pleasure and surprise. Blending proto-house to trance, percussive gems with high-energy techno, Italian dream house and irresistible new beat. Sounds that are very much reflected in this here recording. Yova Yager is a designer and DJ from Kyiv. Graduated from the "Closer-connections" school of the famous Kyiv club "Closer". Being in role of of a DJ for quite a short time, she's totally mesmerized topy bars of Kyiv, Kharkov, Odessa, and Minsk with her performances. In the summer 2021 she's shared the "Lesnoy Prychal" DJ space of the Closer club with Paramida, a German "Berghain" queen. In her sets, Yova isn't leery of experiments with musical styles, ranging from funk and disco to house and even industrial. Each of her performances is filled with love, dancing towards fun and unbridled joy.
