With over 26 years behind the turntables, Oncina is constantly evolving in electronic music. Linked to the Madrid underground, he has been a regular at the Mercado Fuencarral booth from the very beginning. Starting with the famous Raves del Mercado, he later played at a multitude of Madrid venues, such as Space of Sound, Ohm, Arena, Coppelia, Sirocco or Macera Club. His outstanding work led him to a residency at La Musa Latina until 2005, where his Sunday afternoon sessions were legendary and still remembered today. His music has been enjoyed by a multitude of private parties, raves, and small venues, and for years he has also been a fixture on the Mercado Fuencarral/Red Bull float in the Gay Pride Day parade. In addition to Madrid, Ibiza, Barcelona, ​​and Malaga have also enjoyed his music.
His style within electronic music is quite eclectic, not tied to any specific genre and always avoiding the mainstream. In this way, styles such as deep, tech-house, minimal, house and nu disco, with a touch of techno, coexist harmoniously in his suitcase, creating sessions capable of transporting us from the initial gentle tranquility to a musical paroxysm with our arms raised. Simon Jaxx has been playing and producing quality minimal techhouse and electronic music for over 30 years. He starts his musical career and background in the age of 5 year, when he learned to play Piano and Violine. During that time he was trained to play without notes and improvise by ear, to feel and express music. In the early 90ies he buyed his first analogue synthies and started to produce electronic music, infected from the detroit music stuff. His music has appeared on many compilations all over the world and 1998 he starts his first electronic music label "Bunka Records". In this time period he worked and played together with international DJ`s like Damon Wilde, Claude Young, Steve Bug, Felix Da Housecat and many more at different places in the world. 2008 he starts his digital label "Frequently Music" open minded for Newcomers in the worldwide DJ- and Clubscene. Simon Jaxx is well known for his minimal deep techhouse stuff and DJ-Sets, who rumble the dancefloors.
