Hubert Gabriel Żmudzki is a Polish composer and pianist, born 15 June 1997 in Więcbork. In 2021 he graduated with an A grade from the Department of Composition, Conducting, Music Theory and Education at the Academy of Music of Karol Szymanowski in Katowice. In 2021, he graduated as composition student under Prof. Eugeniusz Knapik. Hubert Gabriel Żmudzki’s music is characterized by extensive harmonics with extremely dense, polyphonic texture. The emotionality and trance nature of his compositions make his music appear in the spirit of mysticism and symbolism. In his works, he looks for a connection between the romantic euphony and creative originality. He is influenced heavily by the use of microtones and spectral music. His works are inspired by surreal painting, poetry, and the observation of deep sky objects.
