The second of three collections made at a time when I had very little to say, and even less interest in saying it out loud. I began each one at the piano, improvising and exploring a single idea—a played mantra. Other sounds followed, sometimes in support, sometimes in tension. Nothing urgent, nothing resolved. Just what it felt like to sit still for a while.

“The Clock” is a jagged meditation on intimacy and irony, ticking through fractured verses and surreal confessions. With Interpol‑inspired guitar work and post‑punk detachment, it captures the ache of connection that never quite lands — a love that’s brief, subliminal, and always half a beat off.
