My passion for electronic music ignited in the 90s when I embarked on a journey of endless exploration, seeking out tracks that resonate and feed my ​soul. It didn't take long before I felt compelled to share my passion for the genre with ​my friends​, and in the early 2000s, I took the plunge and became a DJ. 

Since then, I've been on a personal mission to set dance floors ablaze wherever people are willing to take a sound trip with me, even if its one person. I had the honor to perform alongside great Producers and DJs from both Brazil and abroad and to play at some of São Paulo's most iconic clubs, including D-edge, Manga Rosa, Lov.e, Clash, Vegas, Anzu, Pacha, Lab, Sonique, Café de La Musique, among others. From 2010 to 2014, I held a weekly residency on Saturday nights at Squat, one of São Paulo's earliest parties dedicated to Nudisco, Indie Dance, Italo Disco and alternative strands of electronic music.

I play good music and don't mind about genres. Sometimes I go soft, sometimes I go hard, sometimes both. 

But ​honestly​, this journey is​​ about more than just the venues I've played at.

​Among Philosophy, ​music is the heartbeat of my life. It has given me some of the most special, blissful moments of my existence, introduced me to incredible friends, and even led me to my wife and two beautiful children. Music saved my life. It's my healer. Music is the answer... at least, a big part of it. Being a DJ is my way of giving back to the universe for all that music has given me.

So, my dear friends, I invite you to open your hearts, free your minds, and immerse yourself in the hypnotic rhythms of these beats. Let the music take you on a journey of pure ​bliss. Because, at the end of the day, that's all that truly matters​. ​

Edson Abreu discovered his passion for electronic music at the age of 6 and redefined his relationship with this art form in adulthood as a clubber. Inspired by artists such as Kyotto, GMJ, Roy Rosenfeld, and Hernan Cattaneo, he specialized in the organic and progressive house genres, creating sound experiences with striking grooves and progressive narratives.

Despite a short but remarkable journey, Edson Abreu has already performed at major parties and clubs, shared the booth with Paul Deep (AR) at Terrace, opened the stage for Eli Iwasa and Albuquerque at Ekho, and gained great recognition performing in Floripa at Hangar T6, as well as making his debut at DEDGE SP in July 2024.

On the decks, Edson Abreu expresses himself creatively, guiding his audience through euphoric, unique, and unexpected journeys.

This is the artistic signature of Edson Abreu.

He founded the collective SENS in São Paulo to represent and promote Progressive and Organic House. The project has hosted over 100 artists from all over Brazil, contributing significantly to the national music scene.
