Moteka

Après une décennie de collaboration avec son ami Rémy Maurin sous le nom de Principles of Flight, 
Pierre Delort & Rémy Maurin...

Le producteur français Pierre Delort s'est lancé dans un nouveau voyage musical en 2013, donnant naissance à Moteka dans la vibrante ville de Marseille. 
Alors que les principes du voyage mélangeaient des éléments de
psytrance, rythmes techno et esthétique cinématographique surréaliste, Moteka a emprunté une voie plus minimaliste, dessinant inspiration des légendes de la techno anglaise comme Surgeon et Planetary Assault Systems.

Moteka a fait ses débuts avec des EP sur le célèbre label français,
Skryptöm Records, poursuivant ainsi son partenariat.

Cela a commencé avec Pierre Delort et Rémy Maurin. Son style signature, caractérisé par des percussions hypnotiques et une techno sombre et méticuleusement produite l'a rapidement établi comme un artiste incontournable du label. 
La musique de Moteka tisse souvent des paysages sonores oniriques et mélancoliques, influencés par le profond amour de Pierre pour l'analogique
synthétiseurs, illustrés dans l'EP « Xyceon » sorti en 2015.

Moteka a trouvé une deuxième maison sur le label, 
londonien Children of Tomorrow, 
contribuant des EP notables comme « Trimethoxysilyl » (2015) et 
« Daneel Olivaw » (2019). 
Dans sa ville natale de Marseille, il est devenu artiste résident auprès des promoteurs franco-marocains Paradox en 2018.

En 2019, Moteka a dévoilé son premier album, « As we Fighted Iron Giants », sur Skryptöm Records. Connu pour ses performances live captivantes, 
Moteka combine machines et logiciels, offrant des performances uniques,
spectacles d'improvisation. 

En 2018, il rejoint le collectif techno Möd4rn aux côtés de 
Maxime Dangles, Electric Rescue et Kmyle, aboutissant à leur deuxième album, 
« Decode/Process/Inform/Decide », sorti en Septembre 2022.

Novembre 2022 a marqué le retour de Moteka à Skryptöm Records avec son deuxième album, «Permutation Paradox », réalisé en collaboration avec l'artiste canadien Truant.J...
