Different vowels resonate with different chakras. The frequency, or wave patterns, emitted when different vowels are sounded match the frequency or wave pattern of certain energy centers of the body.

For the Solar Plexus Chakra, the vowel sound that matches its wave pattern frequency is OH - almost like the "o" in the word "boat."

Different pitches resonate with specific chakras as well. In this recording, I establish the root with a monochord tuned to C (which aligns with the root chakra), and then I tone above it to bring each higher chakra into alignment with the foundation. In this case, I tone the pitch of E which is a major 3rd above the monochord's C. 

The frequency of the E pitch resonates with the frequency of the solar plexus center, and the interval of the 3rd is motivating and emotionally expansive and releasing.

Chakra Balance Using Vowels and Scale Pattern: OH - Solar Plexus - 3rd E

This track is ideal for relaxing the energy field particularly the fiery qualities of the summer season.

Featuring the sunray zaphir chime and improvised vocal toning, it is intended to represent the summer season, and focuses on the pitches of E major which and connect purposefully with the solar plexus (the body's center of fire, which aligns with the summer season) and its nourishment. 

The root of e major - E - resonates specifically with the solar plexus, our center of power and fire; the major third (G#) resonates with the area just above the throat, and the 5th (B) represent with the crown. Other included pitches include the 4th (A) which resonates with the third eye, and the major 6th (C#) which resonates with the area just above the root chakra (low C#), and the area above the crown - the soul star or spirit star chakras (high C#).

Although summer and the solar plexus are both fiery in nature, this recording has a haunting quality which is intended to relax the occasional exacerbation of fire which can happen particularly in the summer.

Also note, RAM is the bija mantra for the solar plexus. This is a powerful mantra to use when working with this center.

This mantra is chanted to a drone created with tuning forks in the pitches of E and B. The Key of E major is good for grounding and balancing mind and body. Also it is thought to be beneficial for heart conditions and blood circulation, quality of blood, spine and nerve fibres,.
