I have always enjoyed listening to Atmospheric Jungle, but I have only been collecting more and playing Atmospheric sets and mixes in recent years.  Photek is one of my favourite producers of all time, I love his Atmospheric tunes, so when I had the idea for this mix, I had to do it. Photek Atmospheric Jungle Mix

Last year I ended with an epic Teebee XXL special on the second day of Christmas, but this year I'll be away so this was the last show of the year. I wanted to do something a bit special nonetheless, and I finally got around doing a Photek special! All vinyls, lots of classic precious Photek tunes, for two full hours spanning the whole of 1994-2004 (though the majority from his golden age in the 90ies of course). An awesome show with awesome chatroom support. And hey, it made sense (as Steffi pointed out); it's Rupert the red-nose reindeer season! ;-) Enjoy and have a good xmas & NYE everyone.

Next show will be in four weeks due to the Christmas break, a digital show with more modern tunes to start the new year with, on Tuesday January 7th, usual time, usual place, usual no-nonsense prescription of DnB! Part 3 of the tribute mix series delving into the music of Photek, Source Direct & Hidden Agenda who were a huge musical influence on me growing up.

When my friend Vali from @parallaxrecordings asked if I wanted to drop another Yaman Productions tribute mix for @peoples-station I was all over the idea! Last time around I did a tribute to the 1993 crop of mixes, pulling together tracks from that year's selection of mixtapes. This time around I've focused on the 1994 mix sets, taking four tracks from each of the five dj's that featured that year, and running through them sequentially, like this: Micky Finn -> Randall -> DJ Hype -> Peshay -> LTJ Bukem

A super fun selection, and one for all the true heads; this is a great crossover between hardcore and jungle, right as that whole transformation was happening. Enjoy!

So for the Amen Audio Promo Mix #3 we present the DJ Buller to the ranks ! DJ Buller hails from Liverpool and has been carving a name out for himself online with his vinyl only mixes of underground, deep and significant artists and labels in the scene that are treasured amongst the purists amongst us. Most notably Scientific Wax, a mysterious label which encorporates advanced music production techniques not really heard elsewhere in jungle. These tunes are not easy to mix, and especially being done on vinyl makes the mixes DJ Buller does all the more special, and thats one of the main reasons he has such a loyal following on Soundcloud.

DJ Buller - Amen Audio Promo Mix #3 *Read Description*

A little space to show off my music collection from time to time. 

Most mixes will focus on drum and bass/jungle music which I grew up with and was heavily influenced by in the early to mid 90's. There will be a whole host of other genres that cover a wide spectrum of influences that come deep rooted from my upbringing and curiosity. Hopefully you'll enjoy the channel via similar tastes or perhaps discover something new, even if old, and that's the beauty of music, it's timeless.

When the mood takes these uploads are done for the love of the music and appreciation of the artists/labels.

Originally from Amsterdam, and now based in Cambridge UK, Dr. Squee has been into DnB since before the turn of the century and DJing for more than two decades. Long time resident DJ on DnB radio Jungletrain.net, currently on a bi-weekly Tuesday evening schedule (21:00-23:00 UK time).

Dozer has always taken a full spectrum approach to his DJ sets since he started around 2002, originally inspired DJs like Zinc, Photek & Marcus Intalex.  To this day his sets will often encompass many different styles from Soulful to Darkside, Rolling to Jungle Choppage.  He is a music lover first and foremost, and his musical taste encompasses music well beyond Jungle Drum & Bass.  He has a deep knowledge of and passion for Jungle Drum & Bass, so can hone in on a sound or era when the crowd wants it or when he has an opportunity.

He formed the Healing Crew, with Mel De’Vil & JrS, and they became residents at Essence of Chi in the 2000, and remained a regular fixture at EOC events, and Middle Skool events, whilst they were active.  He also played at many other legendary events and venues during the 2000s, including the The End, Ministry of Sound, Traffic and Movement.

He had a show on prominent internet station Life FM in the early 2000s, then moved to London pirate Rude FM where he held down a show for over 10 years.  Dozer developed a love of House and Techno, from the mid-2000s, and hooked with Subterra to explore this style on community station Kane FM and in clubs around Guildford and Reading in the early 2010s.

He came back to predominantly representing Jungle Drum & Bass from the mid-2010s, returning to Rude FM, and has since played at many top draw events such as Middle Skool, Launch and Horns Crew Whistle Crew (fresh new event for 2022, watch out).  He won the InnerSoul x Data Transmission DJ Competition in 2018, and more recently played at Rupture’s 15th Birthday in 2021.

American in Berlin! I've been a dj since 1997, playing across a wide range of dance music genres, as you can see from the variety of mixes. I love it all!
