A full-length orchestral narrative told in twenty movements, blending the architecture of early counterpoint with the tension of a crime drama. Each track unfolds like a chapter in a case file: solemn organ and strings open the investigation, harpsichord patterns tick like forensic clocks, and solo lines for cello, violin, oboe, and continuo sketch the emotional terrain of detectives, witnesses, suspects, and shifting clues.

The middle movements tighten into layered fugues, sharp dances, and atmospheric recitatives as evidence accumulates and motives collide. Elegant misdirections, analytical motifs, and shadowed harmonies push the story deeper into confrontation and revelation.

The final stretch builds toward judgment: a rising passacaglia, triumphant brass, and a canon of interlocking voices. The closing fugue gathers every motif in the album, weaving them into a towering resolution where each theme finds its place in the larger design. A full dramatic arc captured entirely through acoustic instruments, structural clarity, and noir-infused gravitas.

First Move, Then Many is a folk grounded response to nonstop aggression. A strong folk and folk rock pulse runs through the piece, like people on the streets and in their homes, absorbing hit after hit yet still moving together. Over that, nu jazz and jazztronica touches colour the harmony and groove, giving the music a modern, restless edge, while subtle synthpop shades keep the energy bright and alert rather than crushed.

There is something battle worn and ominous in the way the motifs repeat, but the rhythm and phrasing keep pushing forward like a quiet march that will not stop. Melodic lines rise almost like an anthem, repeating the same message in different shapes: we have a right to exist, and you cannot take that away. While the title points to the first move and then many that follow, the piece focuses on how people respond to those blows, staying united, stubbornly hopeful and emotionally present as the wave of aggression rolls on.

Cinematic and epic in scope but rooted in folk, it feels like life before the first headline, when streets were full, neighbours greeted each other at the door and the air carried more laughter than fear. Folk infused melodies and a hint of klezmer warmth make it feel like a village celebration that never quite stops, spinning forward with welcoming energy.

This is written from inside that remembered peace, not as nostalgia from a distance but as if you are standing in it again for a few minutes. Joyful, festive and inviting, it shows the character of a people who greet you with open arms and make you feel at home, which makes everything that follows in the later movements hit even harder.

Lines in the Dust is where the threat stops being distant and becomes real. Melodic and alternative metal colours give the harmony a heavier, more unstable feel from the first bars, as if the ground itself is shifting. The symphonic metal shade in the orchestration adds size and urgency, while folk rock traces keep it connected to ordinary streets and homes. Riffs and motives race back and forth, carrying bad news from one side of the soundstage to the other.

There is a sense of people talking in urgent voices, arguments and questions between the aggrieved woven into the lines. Every time the piece seems to gather itself, the ominous theme returns, reminding you that this is not a false alarm and not a passing scare. The uncertainty does not resolve here. It tightens.

The mood merges dark and joyful tones, saying that it is over, but not really over. As good as the outcome may look from the outside, there is not much to celebrate when you count the losses that brought you here. The movement carefully teases out the feeling of a favourable result reached at a grave expense. The triumphant atmosphere never appears without an undertow of something ominous and heavy, a musical reminder of what took place and what cannot be undone.

I’ve always lived at the crossroads of music and poetry — where feeling becomes form, and melody turns memory into meaning. Whether it’s a lingering jazz note, a well-placed rhyme, or a shift in tempo that tells a deeper story, I’m drawn to that quiet magic where art reflects life with a little more style.

My roots are in classic music — the kind that doesn’t chase the moment but lingers with you long after the last note. Over time, that love expanded into poetry writing and jazz — especially the kind that swings, speaks, and smirks all at once. Jazz, to me, isn’t just a genre; it’s a personality. A conversation. A little tilt of the head and a grin that knows more than it says.

When I set out to create an album, it’s rarely just a collection of songs. I approach it like a personal playlist — one that drifts and flows as if the entire tracklist were one long, uninterrupted piece. Each track leans into the next, shifting mood, pace, or voice, but always carrying the same thread of feeling. I want you to listen the way I do — not as a shuffle of moments, but as a cinematic arc. One breath that lasts an hour.

Lyrically, my work is rooted in lived experience. Sometimes it’s obvious. Other times it’s just the skeleton of a memory, dressed up in wit, irony, or longing. I draw from real-life events, then let the poet in me twist, stretch, or sweeten them to taste. Depending on the tone of the album — playful, romantic, nostalgic, or something in between — I try to keep the emotional truth intact while giving it a fresh coat of creativity. A little humor where it fits. A deeper dive where it hurts.

My newest jazz album continues this tradition — short-lined swing tracks, conversational duets, and tongue-in-cheek storytelling. It’s an homage to late-night alleyway ballads, rooftop serenades, and train station goodbyes — all bound together with a sense of charm and cohesion. Each song is its own little scene, but together they tell a story — one you can revisit with each replay.
