Jam session #1 was recorded May 11 2025 using the Moog Subharmonicon Semi Modular Analog Synthesizer, Roland TR-08, Roland TR-8S Drum Machines.

This was all performed in real time recorded as is. No post production EQ or Mastering.

This is fresh:) Had another version lined up and ready but recorded this yesterday and decided to upload it as my next release (16.08.25). Only a cut mp3 version here, the original is 10.10 minutes;-) Moves at 138 bpm. Play loud!

Technical note: Almost same set up as previous C track except the random Lfo:ed vox patch courtesy of an Arturia Microfreak + occasional Mavis burts:)

This is the first track I recorded with the Eventide Timefactor in my setup. Love the stereo effect of the dual delay.

Ambient Gone Wrong

Uploading this latest C track slightly earlier than usual due to a scheduled change of my internet provider (could take a few days so don't wanna risk it). 
More of an ambient techno vibe here. Made a few different versions of C49-C50 but think this is the best of the bunch despite it being almost 14 minutes in length. Slightly different approach with patching between the 3 moogs as I used two different clocks here:) One of the Labyrinth clocks is controlled by the LFO rate of the Mavis. Not a melody in sight so may include one in the next (and probably last) C upload. 320 kbps Mp3 version. No dropouts this time:) Enjoy this sonic trip!

The internet switch is done:) Those of you who've heard my previous C-tracks will recognize some "recycled" elements in this mix (i.e. vox sample). The main pad is from an Oberheim Matrix 1000 (preset 814) and kinda sets the mood. Morphs a bit midway;) 24 bit 48 khz wav file. Good on headphones. Enjoy!

A track that i recorded a while back at the end of May. More minimal in it's approach. All 3 Moog's are contributing (Subharmonicon/Labyrinth/Mavis) + a Clavia micro modular. Drums/percussion are from the usual machines: ER-1 & DRM-1. BPM is quite fast @ 134 Enjoy!

Brillman has been an electronic online musician during the last 20 years using many different names: Brillman, Controlfreak, freakcontrol, Red Karma, Atmosphere, Zero Loop, Pan64, Randomcontrol, geometric delay and Superfreak! Brillman mainly creates original sounds from hardware synths but also uses guitar, samplers, vocals or even poetry. He primarily utilizes a 4 to the floor approach. The aesthetics behind the music is about finding a balance between minimalism vs. depth & improvisation vs. programmed.

Paul Schaapherder is an amateur semi-modular artist and bass-player from Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
Under the moniker of P@SCH@ I create music that reflects my early journey into synthesis. With a focus on experimentation, my works invite listeners to share in my discoveries within the realm of electronic music and modular synthesis.

POETRY IS VITAL

This threshold space exists for those who feel like listening to some of my quite professional poetry embedded in rather amateurishly recorded but judiciously arranged sound, a modicum of purely acoustic work notwithstanding. SOUND, SPACE AND TIME

Tend your listening senses gently. Even though my general approach welcomes and embraces lo-fi concepts like the precision of spontaneously occuring imprecisions, headphones worth their membranes are recommended - unless you like your sounds flat, mangled, battered and helpless. You don't, do you? Be kind to these soundscapes.

STRUCTURING IMPULSE

Due to the nature of "poetry soundscapes", your listening expectations regarding traditionally structured "songs", sonically purified "raw wildlife soundscapes", keyboard-laden "ambient recordings" or voice-centered "readings" might not be met. You will find some of those in my list of /likes/. "Noise" is a recurring structural element like any other. This is what this sounds like - within its own rights, limitations, tangents and interconnections. Sonic structures. Silent stretches. Poetry emerges from the gaps between the ruts, seeps in from the undergrowth, sweeps down.

In case you have read up to this point, you might be a sonic creator yourself. May I ask you for a helping ear? Above, there is a tiny poem of mine that I do not understand how to translate into sound. If you do - please act on it. It is a matter of common decency, of course, to keep the title (Small Gifts) and to credit the lyrics to me (jo richter). And please do notify me of your version via a soundcloud message. One bewilderingly beautiful version crafted by mono-lux has already gone public, as well as an amazing version by cthonicist.  You'll find both in my playlist Sympoetic Ultrasounds. This is just a small gift, not a challenge - life already has more than enough of those on offer, doesn't it? Treat it this way.
