Topics and Guests: It has been over a year and three months since war broke out in Sudan between the Sudanese Armed Forces led by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) led by General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo a.k.a. Hemedti. Over 9 million people have been displaced—internally and externally as refugees abroad; and millions face acute food insecurity.  The war has impacted children heavily—it has been noted as many as 19 million children are out of school due to the war.  The show features a recent conversation with Niemat Ahmadi, President and Founder Darfur Women Action Group (DWAG) in which she discusses the dire conditions Sudanese are facing due to war in their country.

The show also features a recent conversation with Sibongiseni Shabalala of Ladysmith Black Mambazo on the musical group's history, cultural and educational mission, tradition, and songs.
