I stitched these tunes together after a cracking mini day festival up in E17 Walthamstow. A general mix of housey melodic beats, mostly fresh and new, but a few golden oldies for good measure. 

Tunes are from the likes of Monkey Safari, Lauer, Palms Trax, Peggy Gou, The R, Solomun, Jody Wisternoff, Lovebirds, Swoose, Richie Blacker, Chymera, and many others, finishing things off with a classic Datura track (now 30 years old!)

A good mate Gohei described this mix saying "it sounds like a warm hug from Marco"

HEIT is a new downtempo mix series that offers insight into the slower-tempo back catalogue of DJs and musical artists from various genres.

Swoose is a London based DJ and producer from Belfast, best known for his gritty, analog-driven house sound. Danny’s music carries a raw warmth that nods to the old-school while staying fresh and forward-thinking.
While his usual sets hit with energy and grit, this mix takes a slower, more introspective turn. It blends deep, spacious grooves showcasing a natural, psychedelic edge of Danny’s introspective self. Still unmistakably Swoose — just viewed through a different lens.  

Danny Simpson, better known as Swoose, is a close friend of HEIT, and was introduced to the series in the very early days of developing the concept. 
We are very excited to present his submission to HEIT which features one of his own productions, showing a more ambient side of Swoose’s sound.

My real name is Ilan and i'm a 41 years old dj & music lover from Israel. 
I'm spinning a variety of genres from Soul, Disco & Funk to Balearic, House music and Techno (I do dig the more atmospheric/melodic techno) 
I grew up on trance music, so my passion to Trance classics is far from being a secret

I've been playing in most of the known clubs in Israel from The Block, Bootleg, Beit Maariv to Pergamon in Jerusalem & Forum Club in Be'er Sheva alongside various respected acts like Jonas Kopp, Tornado Wallace, Charlotte De Witte, Camea, Upercent, Meggy, Mathias Scober and many more.

On an international level I had the pleasure to play in Netherlands and in Berlin in a few locations including About Blank, Rummels Bucht and Ritter Butzke.

After 25 years on the Slovak underground electronic scene (previously as DJ Pete), RawNo!r already knows how to do it very well. Times change but people still want the same thing. A good dose of quality music that will satisfy their longing senses and take them far away to get lost somewhere where they feel most themselves.

You could hear him in many clubs throughout Slovakia and the neighbouring Czech Republic and Austria were not missed either. Current bookings include, in addition to the well-known trendy spots of the capital, such as Radosť, Fuga or Wax, also many other events in his native Trnava or in his current place Poprad.

Nowadays he finds the greatest satisfaction in energetic sets with a strong groove and a hypnotic touch in an eclectic fusion of house and techno. As his long-hidden alter-ego, he now plays psy-techno more often.

Currently, his sets are regularly selected and included in the broadcasting of the Slovak Radio FM in the shows Mixtape_FM, Fresh_FM, Scena_FM and LetnyMix_FM.

DJ Playing all things house from Deep, Tech & Techno to Chilled & Disco 🎉

An early intro to electronic music after stumbling across a radio station playing hardcore & rave, helped to propel Movimentum straight into the illegal underground warehouse raves in Sydney in the mid 90s.

The explosion of energy, comradery and creativity from that early era revolutionised his outlook to music, social culture and life-affirming positive attitudes. His love of all things electronic is still as strong as ever today.

From house to techno, nu disco to breakbeat, deep house melodica to progressive house, hardcore to rave, acid house to electro, Movimentum loves to traverse various styles of electronica. A strong history with a deep love for these changing and emerging styles over the decades helps to incorporate a wide range of sounds and beats into his artillery.

Just as happy on the dance-floor as he is behind the decks, the love, passion and kinetic energy is clearly ever-present with Movimentum.
