According to Wikipedia, "Don't You Want Me" is a 1981 song recorded by "The Human League".  It was co-written by Jo Callis; Philip Oakley, and Philip Adrian Wright.  The song reached #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, #3 on the US Billboard Hot Dance/Discon, and #4 on the US Billboard Top Tracks charts. Don't You Want Me (Duet with Amanda at Champions 10-15-2025)

Just a little about myself.  About 12 years ago in April 2010, I sang my first karaoke song in public at Hardee's in Lexington, KY and the song was a Sinatra song "Summer Wind".  I finished the song and waited a couple weeks to come back because I didn't really think I had done well.  So I asked the assistant manager what people said and he told me to keep the microphone close to my mouth.  So I have now done 1583 songs by 506 different singers or groups in those 12 years.  The Pandemic was a very rough time in not being able to see and sing for people.  I tried Facebook, but I don't seem to like their sound quality at times.  Another piece of advice I would have is to listen and work with the people who run the shows.  I have gotten to know some great people who I could talk about for a long time.  People like Tom Martin, Cecil (Dusty) Wilson, Scott Rogers (who created a logo for my music), Erik Davig, Charles Sanders, Billy Judd, and Tom White.  We can all learn a lot from our time in music.
