Nella stessa sessione in cui i FACTORY Mark III hanno reinterpretato Soul Kitchen, la band si è avventurata anche tra le pieghe sensuali e scattanti di Love Me Two Times, altro gioiello del repertorio doorsiano. E lo ha fatto con eleganza e impeto, dimostrando ancora una volta una profonda comprensione stilistica e una forte coesione musicale.
Antonio Miscali alla voce è magnetico: riesce a coniugare la teatralità tipica di Morrison con un piglio più moderno, quasi sfrontato, restituendo al brano la sua natura ambigua e carnale. La sua interpretazione è viscerale, ma mai sopra le righe, bilanciata tra desiderio e malinconia.
Sergio Virdis è protagonista assoluto alla chitarra: il suo tocco è secco, deciso, perfetto nel replicare quella dimensione quasi da blues da saloon del pezzo originale. Ma ci mette del suo, con inserti raffinati, tremolo e delay, gusto per la dinamica e un’elegante libertà nel fraseggio.
Chris Pain e Luca Monaco formano una sezione ritmica solida e pulsante, che gioca tra swing e sensualità con equilibrio millimetrico. Il basso cammina deciso, la batteria accentua, guida, colora. E poi c’è Silvio Vinci: l’Hammond ruggisce, respira, danza attorno agli altri strumenti, come una spirale ipnotica che avvolge tutto. Cameo con Il VOX per un solo centrale come recita l'originale dei Doors , su "Strange Days".
Una versione che profuma di fumo e legno, registrata in presa diretta, dove ogni musicista si ascolta e dialoga. Love Me Two Times dei FACTORY non è solo un tributo, è una dichiarazione d’amore per il groove, il blues e la libertà creativa.

Durante la seduta in sala prove del 18 novembre 2024, i FACTORY -Mark III -hanno reinterpretato “Soul Kitchen”, il celebre brano dei Doors del 1967. Originale e innovativo, il pezzo fonde il blues-rock crudo e il funky tipico della versione originale con un tocco personale e contemporaneo.

Antonio Miscali tratteggia un cantato caldo e potente, intessendo con cura i versi narrativi di Morrison. La sua interpretazione flirta con il mood di Jim, ma senza scimmiottarlo, offrendo una sensibilità moderna che sottolinea il senso di “rifugio notturno” scritto da Morrison  ￼ ￼.
Sergio Virdis sceglie un tono spesso ma definito, mantenendosi fedele al groove originale. Il suo fraseggio è deciso e incisivo, richiamando la sottile intensità di Robby Krieger, ma inserendo spunti più personali e graffianti.
Silvio Vinci fa da ponte tra soul e rock con i suoi interventi all’Hammond, rievocando le atmosfere della prima incisione The Doors, caratterizzate da “funk nitido”  ￼. Il suo Vox Continental aggiunge calore e risalto durante i passaggi iniziali e poi più intimi.
Chris Pain e Luca Monaco forniscono una base solida ed elegante: il basso rotondo e melodico e la batteria dritta ma swingante mantengono il groove alla John Densmore / Doors, senza strafare. Ne risulta una ritmica densa, pulsante, ideale per sostenere i momenti più intensi del brano.
I Factory mantengono la struttura originale – riff principali, andamento blues/rock e atmosfera funk – ma la loro interpretazione non è una semplice cover: c’è personalità e determinazione, con una resa sonora più asciutta e moderna, ma sempre rispettosa dell’essenza del brano.
Il risultato è una versione che sembra esanime ma ruggente, perfettamente in grado di “far salire” come osservava il critico Crawdaddy! sulla versione originale  ￼.
La loro “Soul Kitchen” è un raffinato omaggio al pezzo dei Doors, anche se con una propria personalità: intima e sincera, vivace e trascinante. Una prova convincente che dimostra come i Factory sappiano onorare un classico senza mai tradirlo — mantenendo l’energia, l’atmosfera sospesa tra blues, soul e rock che l’ha reso un inno del 196

On December 8, 1970, Jim Morrison walked into The Village Recorder in Los Angeles on the day he turned twenty-seven and laid down what would become his final poetry recordings. Half a century later, those words raw, unfiltered, and buzzing with danger — resurface not as dusty relics, but as fire in the hands of Australian producer Uone.

The connection runs deeper than chance. In 2018, Morrison’s nephew Sefton, inspired by Uone’s sets, handed him the original poetry recordings a gift from bloodline to turntable. The result is a wild collision of poetry, psychedelia, and pulse-driven electronic music.

Politics of Ecstasy

A psychedelic western surf-rock fever dream — Morrison’s words ride shotgun through a desert of echoing guitars and hypnotic rhythms. Uone fuses raw poetry with cosmic swagger, pulling Morrison’s voice into a kaleidoscopic soundscape built for twilight journeys and endless horizons.

Music has always been a voice of freedom — from the 60s & 70s counterculture to today’s underground dancefloors.

Morrigan’s Howl was a French-Breton band led by Julien Moreau — singer, writer, shadow. Known for their haunting lyrics, analog aesthetics, and theatrical performances, the group released only four official albums before withdrawing from the public eye.

Their sound was a blend of psychedelic folk rock, 70’s ballads, and distorted intimacy. Every song felt like a lost letter. Every show, a ritual.
