To live with grace means to flow freely with life. In this talk offered to The Guemes Island Community Church, Jonathan Prescott explores how Christianity tells the story of grace while Zen teaches the path to grace.

Jonathan Prescott explores the distinction in Zen between the “small self”—our ego and personality—and the “True Self,” the universal, undivided wisdom and goodness inherent in us all. Through personal stories and Zen metaphors, Jonathan illustrates how spiritual practice is not about eradicating the small self, but about allowing it to become a clear conduit for the True Self to act in the world. He emphasizes how integrating faith, diligence, and letting go enables our small self to mirror the qualities of the True Self, continuously shaping how we answer the essential question, “What do I do now?”.

Michael Melancon encourages us to embrace each moment as an opportunity to awaken and engage intentionally with life, highlighting the importance of mindful awareness of breath, heartbeat, and our relationships. By pausing and reflecting rather than impulsively reacting, individuals can cherish their precious lives, foster deep compassion, and navigate challenges with clarity and love.

Twodogs SeemanHo, a London-based Multidisciplinary artist. Her latest publication “An Inner Dialogue For A Loving Self” 2025. 

She is an activist focusing on environmental, ecological and well-being issues. Her practice involves installation art, performance art, generative art, painting, text and sound art.

Twodogs has been combining art and music into her healing projects since 2020. She is also a certified sound therapist after her study in the UK, using handpan, tongue drum, frame drum, singing bowl, harmonium, shrutibox, voice and poetry. 

She has performed handpan and sound journeys in London at The Theatreship, Cinema Museum, Southwark Cathedral, art events, fashion shows, HangoutUK handpan festival 2024 & 2025 and the Latitude festival 2022 & 2023. She created installation art with handpan performance in the forest in 2022, 2023. She also created music for several documentaries and independent films.

Her installation exhibition was awarded a prize in the Hong Kong Art Biennial. This work was subsequently purchased and collected by the Hong Kong Museum of Art. Her book "They are the eyes of equals" was the first book about animal rights and welfare in Hong Kong. She was awarded Bronze Prize in Book Design at The Designers Association Awards. 

Her works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Switzerland, France, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Australia, the UK, the USA. The Artist in Residence: Orkney, New York City, Vermont and France.
