“Break The Line” was written when I was 16 with my school friend Pani Panayiotou. I think I wrote the lyrics & melody; Pani wrote the music. It’s a message to a friend who’s had a rough run: stand up, brush it off, reach for the stars, don’t look back. I’ve been there too—and with friends behind me, I bounced back.
1988 dreamers aiming to be the next big pop duo (Pani’s second cousin was George Michael—no pressure). We took different paths, stayed friends, and here we are. 

This 2025 version has had an AI makeover to give it a clean and up to date production.

The Illusion

“The Book” is one of the most emotionally raw and personal songs I’ve ever written — a classical rock ballad that captures the moment I finally told my mum the truth: that I had been sexually abused when I was around eight years old.

Written in 2003 and first released in 2014 on my debut album Time Machine – Reflecting Shattered Dreams, this 2025 AI-reimagined version breathes new life into that moment of painful honesty.

At fourteen, I was torn between silence and the unbearable weight of memory. The lyrics unfold like a confession — a boy’s attempt to open his “book of shame”, haunted by feelings too heavy for his young heart to carry. Each verse is a page from that book — fragile, fearful, but necessary to read aloud.

The arrangement builds with emotional precision — beginning with soft piano and strings, then swelling into electric guitars and orchestral textures that mirror the storm of confession. The chorus, “Why must I fall and break your heart,” captures the impossible fear of hurting the one person who’d always protected me.

The closing line — “I cried” — is not just a lyric, it’s the truth. There’s no dramatic ending, only the release that comes when silence is finally broken.

“The Book” isn’t about blame; it’s about courage — the courage to speak, to face the pain, and to begin healing.

Song Description – “Dancing With Angels”

“Dancing With Angels” is a deeply personal and heartbreaking piece that began as a meditation on one of the most profound moments in Scripture — Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. After the Last Supper, Christ prayed in anguish on the Mount of Olives, submitting to the Father’s will before Judas’ betrayal. That image of surrender, pain, and isolation was the original inspiration for this track.

But as the song evolved, its meaning transformed from the Biblical to the deeply personal. What began as a reflection on Jesus’ anguish became something far closer to home — the sad and true story of a young man, a troubled soul dear to our hearts, who tragically took his own life in 2005 in an attempt to escape his inner demons. The lyrics became his final farewell, a cry for forgiveness, freedom, and peace. The angels who guide him now are his late father, Ray, and his late grandfather, Len.

Originally recorded for my debut album Time Machine – Reflecting Shattered Dreams in 2014, this 2025 AI reimagining breathes new life into the song’s haunting orchestration and raw emotion. It now stands as both a lament and a tribute.

This version is dedicated to my dear cousin Kris: How can it be that 20 years have already passed since we last spoke? I’m sorry I couldn’t find the right words to heal you (save you). Rest in peace dear cousin Kris. See you on the other side. x

I’m Dean R. Chandler — a London based songwriter, recording artist, and storyteller. My music is rooted in a lifelong search for meaning, weaving together themes of love, loss, faith, alien contact, and humanity’s future.

My upcoming double concept album Human Odyssey (set for release in January 2027) is the culmination of decades of writing and reflection. It’s a narrative journey that begins with a search for God and ends with an encounter with extraterrestrial intelligence — exploring not only what it means to be human, but also where we might be heading as a species. Musically, it draws inspiration from the epic storytelling of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds, the synth-driven edge of Gary Numan, and the emotional depth of artists like Tori Amos and Chris de Burgh.

I previously released Time Machine – Reflecting Shattered Dreams (2014) and continue to revisit my archive of songs written across 35 years, reimagining them with today’s tools and sounds. Some pieces remain intimate and acoustic, while others expand into dark rock, industrial, or orchestral landscapes — but all are connected by a focus on emotional honesty and cinematic storytelling.

Beyond music, I’m fascinated by the intersection of creativity and technology. I’ve been experimenting with AI-driven composition and production to bring old demos to life and to spark entirely new works. For me, these tools are not replacements for human artistry but extensions of it — ways of unlocking stories and emotions that otherwise might have remained hidden.

At its heart, my work is about connection: to the past, to the future, and to the unseen mysteries of existence. Music, for me, isn’t just entertainment — it’s a chronicle of transformation, a conversation between spirit, science, and sound.

Tony Toscano is a nationally recognized movie critic and film historian who has been reviewing films for over 4 decades. Tony grew up in Southern California, just outside Los Angeles.

While attending Jr. High School, Toscano began writing a weekly movie review column for his school paper. Directly because of his weekly column, Tony was asked to write a film review column for the San Gabriel Valley Tribune and a music review column for “The record Collector's Journal.”

Always interested in television and film, it’s no surprise Tony's first job was a disc jockey at his hometown radio station and began to review films and interview celebrities as a regular feature of his radio show and “Talking Pictures” was born.

Moving from Los Angeles to Utah to co-host a morning radio show on Utah's KABE FM 107, his film reviews were heard once a week and became a staple of the popular morning program.

Toscano began taking live calls from listeners and discussing current movies.

In 1996 Tony made the jump from radio and newspapers to television as the film critic on CBS in Salt Lake City, and then to KJZZ TV where he hosted the popular "Movie Review Show" and then his own production, "Talking Pictures."

In 2002 Tony was honored with his first Emmy Award as “Best Discussion Program.” In 2007 Toscano received his 2nd Emmy for hosting Talking Pictures.

Taking his award winning program coast to coast, Toscano has been able to syndicate Talking Pictures to over 65 million households around the USA and in nearly 120 countries worldwide.

In May of 2008 “Talking Pictures” moved to ABC-4 and Utah’s CW-30.

Toscano is also the film reviewer and entertainment guru for ABC-4’s “Good Morning Utah" and “Midday."

Additionally, Tony is heard on a number of radio stations across the US, including I Heart Radio's  top- rated “Morning Zoo with Frankie and Jess” on 97.1 ZHT in Salt Lake City, where his reviews have been heard for nearly 2 decades.

His fellow reviewers regard Tony as "one of the country’s best celebrity interviewers." As his in-depth conversations with such notable stars as George Clooney, Harrison Ford, Angelina Jolie, Steven Spielberg, Jeff Goldblum, Gwyneth Paltrow and Denzel Washington show a different and more relaxed side of celebrities.

In 2006 Toscano co-hosted the acclaimed series “Hot Topics” for Atlanta’s ABC affiliate WSB TV.

Working with Utah students in apprenticeships and internship programs, Tony is instrumental in instructing qualified and deserving students in the art of television production.

Tony Toscano is member in good standing of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA), a former board member of the Salt Lake City Film Center and the founder of the Utah Film Critics Society.

When not previewing, reviewing or interviewing Tony can be found somewhere in the mountains of Utah stream fishing or at his BBQ.

Jace’s passion and talent for music has established himself as one of the world’s favorite DJs. 

Originally from Washington, DC, Jace M began his DJ journey in 2002. While attending university, Jace took advantage of his free time to learn how to DJ. By 2005, Jace had landed a residency at Necto Nightclub, the largest Gay Nightclub in the Detroit Area.

In addition to being an accomplished DJ, using his club life experience, Jace produces and promotes the largest gay events in Detroit under the name Thots & Prayers. With six different event brands under his belt, his accomplishments continue to expand. 

Jace also spends time in the studio as well and recently released a single with singer Joey Diamond. He’s also released numerous other remixes where he’s collaborated with people like Joe Gauthreaux, Mauro Mozard, and his frequent production buddy, Toy Amrada.
