De meeste hechtingswonden en jeugdtrauma loop je op voor je zevende levensjaar. Vaak is het ook nog eens pre-verbaal, oftewel: komt het eerder als stemmingen, triggers en emoties. Vaak ligt hier een kernverwonding aan ten grondslag, die zich niet gemakkelijk laat kennen, omdat je deze onbewust verdrongen hebt, omdat het destijds als kind te pijnlijk was om te voelen. In de aflevering van vandaag laat ik je zien hoe zo'n kernverwonding ontstaat, welke kernbehoeften er aan ten grondslag liggen en ontdek je dat er een vrouwelijke of mannelijke kernverwonding is (sommigen van ons hebben beide).

I'd say this one is melancholic, it is pretty sad sounding. I originally wanted this to be a doomcore (140bpm or less Hardcore) track.. but after playing around with it, the song became experimental. I really like using only a kick as the instrument, it makes creativity be more on point, I'd say.

Terrified of the Fall is an experimental indie-alt pop confession about avoidant attachment, emotional shutdown, and the internal war between the adult self and the inner child.

This track blends poetic rap with cinematic ambience, capturing the fear of being seen, the terror of being abandoned, and the pain of repeating old survival patterns.
It’s the sound of someone trying to love while fighting their own mind, of wanting closeness but running from it, of breaking the person they love while trying to protect themselves.

The song explores avoidant fear, self-sabotage, trauma responses, emotional numbness, and the moment you finally understand why you push people away. The dual-voice rap verses reveal the inner child who tries to protect you, while the final verse confronts that fear directly.

Terrified of the Fall is for anyone who grew up learning to survive instead of trust, for anyone who runs from love while craving it, and for anyone healing the parts of themselves that never felt safe.

A heavy and melancholic ballad about the weight of fear, buried memories and the long aftershocks a person can carry through life.
The song follows someone who experienced overwhelming anxiety in youth, found years of peace and later faced the same sudden, intense terror again.
It describes the physical impact of panic, the loss of control and the desperate wish for the fear to stop, while also showing a quiet form of endurance.
Cinematic strings, a dark atmosphere and a gritty low-range vocal tone shape the sound, while the instrumental keeps a clear emotional core.
The narrative remains open to interpretation.

The instrumental composition and melody were performed and recorded manually.
Vocals and production support were generated using Suno for artistic enhancement.

Grunge/Metal_Trackday-RaceBike_IT-Nerd... 😁 I’m a former drummer of the band ANNOYING L.I.F.E. and still play at home on a Roland e-drum, after years with a Mapex double-bass kit. I also use a keyboard - just enough to capture the melodies I hear, even though I’m not a real keyboard player. All covers I create in Suno are based solely on my own material. No outside songs, no borrowed melodies - just my ideas, transformed into sound.

As an artist and poet, my focus is being authentic to myself. My art is unapologetic, carrying depth and emotion. I believe that art, in all forms, should not be dictated by audience but rather that it must remain as an unbound act of expression.
