Playing at sunset on Acid Friday in the middle of the Playa on our barrio's art car was a pure honour.

I spent WEEKS preparing for my Nowhere sets but when it came to evening time on Acid Friday, I decided to ditch the set I had prepared.

I wanted to do something more creative and in the moment, I wanted to feel the energy of the playa at this very special time, connect, flow and improvise.

When we were ready to start the music, I was asked to pick a song for soundcheck, in that moment Heart Beat by Animato & Gaudium came to mind and then everything magically flowed from here.

I also started playing just as a majestic thunderstorm and sandstorm was brewing. The most incredible light show I could have asked for. The sky, the atmosphere and all the dancing people were electric, we all came together and did this journey as one in the middle of the Spanish desert.

Acid leads, ethereal vocals, and driving basslines shape the signature sound of this Norwegian artist — a new voice in full-on psytrance.

Since 2021, she’s been reshaping genre boundaries, weaving her own vocals into vivid sound design explorations. Armed with a Maschine MK3 and Ableton Live, she blurs the line between chaos and clarity, crafting tracks that pull you under and don’t let go.

Originally from Brisbane, Rob started mixing Hard House, and was greatly inspired by local legends such as DJ Edwin, Jen-E, and Miss Tracy. Being an avid lover of variety, contrast, and a bit of chaos, Rob cannot confine himself to a single genre, and over the years has developed a love for mixing Hard Trance, Happy Hardcore, Uplifting Trance and PsyTrance in addition to his hard house roots.

Rob’s career commenced in ’98 with a demo mix that led to being shortlisted for the Channel V National DJ Competition, making it to the final 5 out of 800+ entries. This led to a smattering of regular appearances at venues such as Elevation 8, Morning Glory, Viva, The Beat Megaclub, and Mansion, as well as a Friday night spot on the Gold Coast’s Hot FM. Rob also kickstarted “Escalation” events in Brisbane, a night which sought to showcase a variety of genres beginning at a tame and moderate pace, before escalating to the hard and fast.

After a considerable break from behind the decks and a relocation to Melbourne, Rob is back and sturdy as ever, proving himself capable of delivering the goods with a set at Regeneration, a bushfire fundraiser rave supporting the humans and animals affected by Australia’s devastating bushfires. Currently live streaming from home till we have Covid19 under control and we’re ready to assault the dance floor again.

I specialize primarily in psytrance, and additionally in breakbeat and tech-house / deep-tech... yet I also drop sets of drum'n'bass, techno, and other forms of house music.

Psytrance is my true love.
However, tech-house is a very close second, which I *sometimes* perform under the ‘Papasan’ alias.

A disc jockey for the past 23 years, I have a wide ranging background... from Bay Area mack rap and G-funk, to progressive and nuskool breakbeat, to techstep, jump-up, and neurofunk styles of drum'n'bass.
My roots are spinning vinyl records of nuskool breaks and drum'n'bass, yet for the past 16 years, I've stayed firmly planted in psychedelic trance music.

I've had the honor of dropping slaps for some of the USA's most renowned psytrance crews, namely Pulsar LA, PsyTribe USA, and Greensector, as well as dropping breakbeat and D&B for various rave crews in Los Angeles, and in addition, ardently pushing psytrance in the Philippines wherever and whenever I can, from MEDUSA (Makati) events, my own OPODISCO parties, Vulan Tribe's outdoor festivals, and arguably the most fun: private in-house (IH) ragers.

Expect to hear a wide range of trance... ranging from higher BPM, heavy, funky twilight blasters, to deep and rolling full-on, to earthy and chunky Japanese mid-groove, to driving, atmospheric prog-psy.

Past aliases include: Psykotik, Bling Theory, and Sardonyx (w/ DJ Symbiot... RIP Jason!)

Summoners is a Greek Uplifting and Psytrance band.
They started making music  from 1998  until 2002, the produced numerous famous tracks. After an almost 20 years break, they have decided to come back together in producing Uplifting Psytrance but also full on tracks.

Emerging from the vibrant tapestry of London and Bristol's free party, festival, and warehouse scenes, Apsara has a deep-rooted passion for the global underground. She is a multi-faceted artist and musician who can seamlessly blend Deep House, Downtempo and Techno with the exhilarating energies of Psytrance, Jungle and Drum and Bass.

Since childhood, she has been inspired by myths, legends, magic and fables from around the world and has profound appreciation for global musical traditions. Apsara weaves the delicate beauty of ethnic instruments and mystical vocals with hypnotic basslines, creating a symphony that transcends geographical boundaries. At times her sets will be light and dreamy whilst at other times they may reach into the darker, kinkier explorations of sonic territories. 

Nothing is off limits and everything is an inspiration.

With each performance, Apsara invites listeners on an enchanting journey, weaving narratives through sound and forging a unique connection between diverse musical landscapes.
