Over 4 hours of the BEST in skate music from around the world. This one will be a classic. And it is the people of the world who love good music, skate music, house music, African music!

All the tricks of the mix, remix and editing trade are on full display here. Yes, I took some time to put this together-I've been working on it for nearly a month-and then the mix itself was originally 4 hours and 45 minutes. 
Here, the mix is trimmed down a bit, focusing on the main parts of what makes a mix really exciting. That's my job as a DJ: to present the best sounds and keep the integrity of the songs I play in place. Of COURSE sometimes the goal is something completely different, but overall, what you hear here will be devastating to your ears. 

There is so much here to choose from. Skaters of every walk and style, who favor one sound or another is going to find their joy here. 

This is 100% quality skate music. I choose carefully, and while there are 94 songs tracked, there are well over 100 in the mix-beats, loops, sound effects, etc....you will not be disappointed. 

Special thanks to all of the artists, their labels, producers, managers and supporters of the skate culture who send me their music and create these amazing songs. I love what you do and every one of my mixes is as much for you as it is for everyone who loves good music.

I had a lot to say here, more than usual, because that's how special this mix is to me. Oh and I CANNOT do all this and not thank my Queen Martina-the voice you hear on all my mixes-and our Sun Jelani, who gives me pointers on what to play and what he likes. He's Autistic, he doesn't speak, but he loves music as much as we do, so I do every mix with him in mind as well. He will clap when I'm on point LOL. 

Normally I post a playlist to this description but it is 94 songs, mix names and time frames. I don't always make a list of what I play like that-especially for a mix that was nearly 5 hours long-but I WILL send it to my email subscribers and post it to our Skate Crates group on Facebook. Lastly, a new mix is released every 2 weeks for Skate Crates, as well as House Massive. Other genres like afrobeat, amapiano, moomba, disco, funk, soul and top 40/pop are all featured in all of my mixes....even touches of Spanish-themed songs (salsa, merengue, bachata, tejano, dem bow, etc). I love all kinds of music.

See you in the mix, and please DO support roller skate culture worldwide. In NYC right now we do not have any rinks in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan or The Bronx. Staten Island has one but the floor is cement-my knees were KILLING me after skating lightly for about 90 minutes. The nearest rinks are in Long Island, then South Amboy NJ or Newark, NJ. My long term plan in all of this is to open a rink in Brooklyn OR The Bronx. The latter, because I grew up there and I would love to bring it back to my foundation. Brooklyn has been home for 17 years (since 2007) so of course I am thinking of my homestead first :D
