German producer APHE shows his alignment with Shadow Wulf Records as he dives deep into a wolf concept for his latest EP, “The Pack Survives”. Drawing inspiration from popular tv show GoT, APHE focused on the Direwolf theme, sampling the vocal line “the lone wolf dies but the pack survives”, a sample he’d been yearning to use in a track for several years but was waiting for the perfect time. The title track is a minimal, driving track with mystic sounds in which one can imagine a pack of wolves roaming through a forest with the light of a huge, bright, silver moon on a crystal clear night. The chugging rhythm is complemented by a sneaking half-step low synth melody, intricate effects, and eerie pads. 

The second track “Isegrim” is a darker and heavier stomper at first glance but shows APHE’s range with a fragile, melancholic touch as the melody and the brighter sounds appear. Gritty synths bare their teeth and show their strength in this fierce groover.  

The third track “Nymeria” acts as a follow-up to the title track, and advances with a speedier and more aggressive bassline. A progressive melodic rhythm subtly gives energy and is accompanied by dark swelling pads throughout its entirety. This track is on the hunt -- One can almost see the wolves picking up their speed and moving swiftly with intention through the darkness. 

The Pack Survives EP marks APHE’s third release with Shadow Wulf Records, and his first EP with the label. The EP also features 2 remixes from fellow German and techno heavy-hitter Monococ, and Shadow Wulf label boss Aaron Jacobs.

Wulfpack has made it to a milestone of 50 Wulfcast mixes and we couldn't be more proud of each mix. It has been a pleasure to have so many wonderfully talented individuals pour their heart and soul into their mix. We decided it would be awesome to have Aaron Jacobs and Jamie Schwabl do a 4 hour b2b mix for our 50th Wulfcast. Jamie and Aaron have been working together for the past 7 years in LA. They have helped each other, as well as many others, to grow and thrive in music and in life. The journey continues onward and upward.

In this mix, Aaron and Jamie showcase many styles and moods throughout the mix. You won't be jumping out of your seat to dance, although there are parts that you probably will. Rather, it's a journey through sounds and moods to relax to, to think to and simply to just be.

Building DISTRIKT at Burning Man is a lot of work and it is a year long process to raise funds and prepare for one week of shenanigans. I am always happy to help out whenever I can. The DISTRIKT BM LA Fundraiser at Union was bananas and I was happy to play an opening set in the Noise Room to warm up the long night ahead. I started slow and chill and built up the energy to allow Dance Spirit to get things going. Thanks for listening and especially thanks for supporting your DISTRIKT family.

Aaron Jacobs began DJ’ing in his hometown of Santa Fe in 2002, and his commitment to solid grooves and sounds has always kept him traveling to new destinations in the US and Mexico while managing Wulfpack in Los Angeles and increasing his involvement in Burning Man’s legendary DISTRIKT sound camp. Along with co-founder Jamie Schwabl, Aaron organizes one of Southern California’s most inclusive party crews. At Wulfpack, Aaron curates their guest mixes, record label and event calendar, and partners with ChinoSound to offer Synergy Festival in the Mojave desert. Aaron has also been hard at work in the studio and has releases on M.U.R., Liquid Grooves, Lonely Owl, Shoes Bags and Boys, Stripped Digital, Noise Revolt and Krafted Underground UK.

When choosing the name for his musical project, Dimitry wanted to communicate the essence of what electronic music truly means to him: the building of a true, deep, and visceral community, connected by and through sound.

Deep Tribe’s output is a careful blend of emotive deep house, tech house, bass, and techno. Spending the first 18 years of his life in Eastern Europe and shaped by 16 years in Chicago’s iconic house scene, Deep Tribe’s sound is a bold fusion of global vibes and deep, infectious house beats. 

With his tracks consistently making it to the Top 100 charts, Deep Tribe has earned his place as a rare standout in electronic music, seamlessly blending cultures and genres like no other.

Deep Tribe’s catalog is a testament to Dimitry’s eclectic, yet well-rounded, musical mind. Through original productions, remixes, podcasts, and the curating of his very own label, Counterfeit Fun Records, he has built a deeply engaged following composed of peers and fans alike.

Emerging as a force in the underground club scene about a decade ago in Chicago, Deep Tribe is all about electrifying vibes and crowd-moving energy. In 2024, his tech house anthem "Need You" took off, landing on major Spotify playlists and dominating the dance floor. 

Regularly spinning in Los Angeles and holding down multiple California residencies, Deep Tribe teamed up with San Diego’s DJ Wayne Wright for "Act Like It,” EP released on Tiger Records, Germany. The record shot to #7 on Beatport’s Bass House chart and earned a spot in Beatport’s Best Bass House of August 2024 collection, solidifying his place at the forefront of the scene.

In 2023, Deep Tribe's tech-house hit “Uhh Yeah,” released on legendary Lou Lou Records, garnered widespread acclaim and substantial support from a host of industry professionals. The track received rave reviews and enthusiastic endorsements from prominent figures such as Shiba San, BlackVNeck, Nick Fanciulli, Miguel Bastida, Martin Ikin, and many others.

During the summer of 2022 Deep Tribe has brought new energy to his productions delivering heavy tech-house banger entitled - "Melt Me" released by No Definition Records (Switzerland) and gaining support from EDX, Croatia Squad and many others.

Deep Tribe's post-pandemic debut, the bass-heavy house track “Take A Trip ft. Andrew Knopf” on Tiger Records (Germany), has made waves across multiple top 100 charts. This infectious gem, with its compelling groove and memorable lyrics, has a magnetic pull that keeps listeners dancing and singing along long after the music stops. Its undeniable appeal is highlighted by its impressive placement on Beatport’s Top 100 Bass House hits of 2020, affirming its status as a standout release in the genre.

This Italo-Uruguayan was exposed to the early days of his local scene, and became a DJ at a young age. In the late 90s he started his residency at Space Ibiza's Terrace in Punta del Este, which was twice named as "The Best Club in South America" by MUZIK Magazine (UK) and remained in operation for 12 years. Since then, he has been invited both nationally and internationally to participate at events hosted by Burning Man, Desert Hearts, Music Is 4 Lovers, Spin Nightclub, Hard Rock Hotel, 4th&B, IVY Nightclub at Andaz San Diego, Organic Thursdays, Wave House among many others. He's played alongside Quivver, Fabio Giannelli and Darin Epsilon, to name a few.

Repetto aired a live radio show for 2 years, and his current project Technism Mix Series found appreciation among a selective crowd internationally and gained collaboration, participation and support from over 110 world class DJ/Producers including Roland Klinkenberg, Martin Roth, Robert Babicz, Nick Muir, Stas Drive, Ray Kajioka, Colin Dale, Hernan Cattaneo, Riley Warren, Chris Udoh, Tom Lown, Gary Beck, Andrea Cassino, Arnold From Mumbai, Cumiks, Aux n Morris, Amine Jemail, Gorge, Kevin Andrews, DFormation, Justin Steel, Nathan Clement, Bala, Enzo Muro and Timo Garcia.
