¿Quién es el verdadero Huaquero?

Das Final Gathering findet am Samstag, den 30.11.2024 um 19:00 Uhr beim Frankfurt LAB im Rahmen des Implantieren Festival 2024 statt. 

Auf dem Foto des Flyers sind drei Masken aus braun-orangenem Ton zu erkennen. Es sind Nachbildungen der Gesichter von Alexander von Humboldt, Wilhelm Gretzer und Adolf Bastian Baessler. Als deutsche Forscher, Sammler und Ethnologen haben diese Männer im Namen der Archäologie viel kulturelles Erbe aus Abya Yala, auch Südamerika genannt, gestohlen und Gräber und heilige Orte geschändet. Die Masken liegen auf einem fließenden blauen Stoff, der sich in Wogen unter ihnen wellt. Durch die Masken von Wilhelm Gretzer und Adolf Bastian Baessler können Sehende Menschen schauen, die Maske von Alexander von Humboldt hat in Ton eingeritzte Augen. Es wirkt so, als ob ich Humboldts Kinnspalte, Gretzers Schnurbart und Baesslers Augenfalten ertasten könnte.

Die Recherche für das Projekt ¿Quién es el verdadero Huaquero? gipfelt in einer audiovisuellen Installation mit Tanz und Performance, in die der Austausch der Lernkreise über dekoloniale Perspektiven zu Themen wie der Rückgabe von kulturellem Erbe, traditionellem Tanz und der Geschichte der andinen Küche, integriert wird. Drei projizierte Bilder öffnen drei Portale zu historischen Archivmaterialien die die Künstler*innen mit Text, Tanz, Performance und Musik verweben und aktivieren. Durch sprachliche Übersetzungen schaffen wir Zugänge für unser deutsch-, englisch- und spanisch-spachiges Publikum. Offene kreative Audiodeskription schafft Barrierefreiheit für unser Blindes und Sehbehindertes Publikum. 

Die Vorstellung beginnt um 19 Uhr im Frankfurt LAB in der Schmidtstraße 12. Der Eintritt ist frei.

Selection of 39 beats out of the 200+ projects I've scrapped/didn't finish this year alone; therefore this is the best of them.

A lot of ups and downs I've had personally with this year. I was expecting myself to upload more than I wanted but I'm more than satisfied with 2024, hoping I can reach beyond with the next.

Amelia Uzategui Bonilla, ein*e nichtbinäre peruanische Tänzer*in und Choreograph*in, arbeitet mit antikolonialen Konzepten und migrantischen Perspektiven und wirkt in den lokalen Tanz Communities in Frankfurt am Main und Dortmund mit.
 
Mit T.I.A. dance productions möchten Uzategui Bonilla und Team eine intersektionale, barrierefreie Perspektive zu verschiedenen Tanztraditionen ermöglichen. Mit dem interdisziplinären, interkulturellen und Mixed Abled künstlerischem Team werden kreative Audiodeskription, Tanz, Live Musik und Performance zu einer eigenen künstlerischen Darstellungsform verschmolzen.

I wanna be the next star, the next big rapper, the next legend

When I'm not playing video games, I might actually be found working on some production. I'm really into an all hardware approach to music making these days and loving various synths, sequencers, and drum machines. I would even dare to say music making has surpassed gaming and is now my main pastime! While still trying to pinpoint my musical "sound", I definitely find myself incorporating my love for Deep House from my many years spent as a DJ but I'm not afraid to just let the music guide me in the moment. You can likely expect House, Techno, Electronica, Experimental, Synthwave, and basically anything synth-focused. Thanks for listening!
