Mit Signalstörung öffnet sich ein wahrlich tiefer Kosmos aus Artist mit jeder Menge Seitenprojekten, Manager des wahnsinnig inspirierenden, Leipziger (!) Labels Adventurous Musik - plus jede Menge Geschichte, da hinter/mit ihm gleichwohl auch Global Noise Movement, WGT Noise Floors und zB Industrialisation steht. Wo könnte mensch nun anfangen? Mix in den Kopf und nebenher (s)ein Gesamtkunstwerk erforschen!!

Into the Water

A duo called Peff. In this track you can hear zany improvised Jazz-like stream of consciousness aural Dadaïsm with some heavy pointillistic playing from Mr. Dobben while Mr. Scheffer's notes are more shapen in a kind of obstructive and cubist mold. A clash of art-ideologies so to speak, but nevertheless corporately performed and taped for their second album which may be released later this year as the successor to the still not released first album.You might think this is strange.......... but in a way that's also kind of Dada logic!!

I play piano, synthesizer and drums. I make my music, mostly alone, sometimes in collaboration with others but I always 
use the name Peff for my musical activities. I just issued my first cd (actually today as I write these words, March the 17th 2013),
a duo album with guitarist Onno Scheffer. It's called "Pleasing the neighbourhood with electrifying Dadaism". If you listen to the
tracks already released here on Soundcloud you will probably get some idea about my/our idiom although stylistic diversity is one 
of my main goals which means music with influences from (Free) Jazz, Avant-prog, Krautrock, Dark Ambient and Western Classical music.
