this song was made at a time where i felt very unconfident w a lot of my abilities, i was kinda at a stagnation musically n couldn't seem to get out of it. i wrote this just to make Something and it evolved into one of my favorite things ever, i hope u enjoy <3

all nighter volume 8 ended exactly 1 day before i moved out for university
this song was made in a mindset i am no longer in, a vulnerable state where all i wanted was to no longer feel that i was leaving everyone i loved behind. this song is an affirmation that they're still here, they're not far, and i'm still here. admittedly this was probably way too personal for a 24 hour charity comp but i am still incredibly grateful to FORM for letting me stream and express this feeling <3

it's been a crazy year. 

flutter was the first piece i wrote after moving out , assisted by the lovely soundcloud.com/achorda. since then, i've had to deal with a lot of transition, but i think finally i can say i've found my home here. this song has stuck with me since i got here. despite it not sounding entirely like what i make anymore, i think i can finally let it shine before we get into whatever my next era as aephyn is <3
