Stacy Sutherland describes a mystic vision he had during an acid trip while on stage when he was part of the band the 13th Floor Elevators. Stacy played lead guitar in the band. The  Original interview is from May of 1977. He eerily predicts his death at the end. Stacy died at his home in Center Point, Texas, after being accidentally shot by his wife during a domestic dispute a few months after this interview. I recorded this audio from the interview and dubbed it over an analogue synth track that I had been working on with an arpeggiated sequence on up/down and ran that through a JOYO atmosphere…it somehow fit very well and even cut off right where he talks about his third insight. If you've never heard of Roky Erickson and The 13th Floor Elevators I suggest you educate yourself. The founders and originators of psychedelic rock. I felt I needed to put this out there and the process of creating this piece was oddly organic and familiar yet strange in a way, it made itself... either way, enjoy.

My Lo-Fi Heart’s music is characterised by its raw and unpolished sound, often embracing imperfections as an aesthetic choice. The whole thing is driven by a DIY ethos, played on and recorded with low-budget equipment, often found in charity shops. The result is music that feels intimate and authentic, with a certain charm which comes from its rough edges.

Combining the rawness of grunge, the psychedelic rhythmic pulsating beats of acid house, and the ethereal vibes of dream pop, the music suggests a wave of sound that’s both immersive and energetic, both gritty and surreal with a dreamy undertone that ties together the rawness and the rhythm in a unique auditory experience.

“Njen planetarni vrt” je participativan projekt o samonikllim i invazivnim odnosno feralnim biljnim vrstama koje rastu u gradu Zaboku i okolici. Cilj projekta je razmjena i prikupljanje ženskih znanja o pojedinim biljkama između umjetnice Ivane Papić i sudionica. Na radionici poezije koja je održana 22.09.2024. u Zelenoj dvorani u Zaboku, sudionice su se identificirale s pojedinim biljkama te napisale poeziju o njima, dok je rezultat projekta zvučni zapis s novonastalim stihovima napisanih u zagorskom dijalektu. Radi se o seriji site-specific radionica koje umjetnica izvodi u Hrvatskoj i inozemstvu na različitim jezicima. 

The participatory project "Her planetary garden" focuses on wild and invasive or feral plant species that grow in the Croatian town of Zabok and its surrounding area. The aim of the project is to facilitate an exchange of women's knowledge about specific plants between the artist Ivana Papić and the participants. At the poetry workshop held on 22 September 2024 in Green Room in Zabok, the participants identified themselves with certain plants and wrote poetry about them in Zagorje dialect. The result of the project is a soundscape with newly created verses. These workshops are site-specific and are conducted by the artist in Croatia and abroad in different languages.
