Kilden teater setter i høst opp ikke bare ett, men to av Sofokles' stykker - Kong Oidipus og Antigone. Stykkene, som er skrevet for to og et halvt tusen år siden, tar for seg de største og voldsomste temaene du kan tenke deg: skjebne og fortapelse, makt og maktmisbruk, opprør mot lover og foreldre, drap, incest og selvmord.

I denne rekordlange episoden inviterer vi Kildens faste dramaturg, og etter hvert vår faste gjest, Endre Sannes Hadland, til studio. Via lange omveier innom Aristoteles, antikk tro og filosofi, renselse og en rekke andre temaer prøver vi å komme under huden på disse to klassiske teaterstykkene.

#32 - Endre Sannes Hadland om Sofokles' Oidipus og Antigone

Lagom till halloween har ännu en skräckfilm blivit musikal, och i detta avsnitt går Kritcirkeln på sin tredje skräckmusikal på kort tid. I Suptopia i Alby sitter vi längst fram i ”splatterzonen” och låter scenblodet stänka ner oss när ett nytt gäng spelar ”Evil Dead — The musical” efter Sam Raimis 1980-talskultfilmer. Musikalen är skriven av Frank Cipolla, Christopher Bond, Melissa Morris & George Reinblatt (text). Regissör är Johan Bark.
Vi fortsätter att prata om död och elände, med lite allvarligare ton, när vi avhandlar ”Herr Arnes penningar” på Folkoperan och Bergmanfestivalens två gästspel på Dramaten: ”Antigone in the Amazon” av Milo Rau och ”Goodbye, Lindita” av Mario Banushi. Dessutom knyter vi ihop alla Antigone-varianter vi sett hittills i år med nypremiären av Unga Klaras ”Mitt hjärta säger”.

#51 Evil Dead The Musical

En 1769, 20 ans avant la Révolution française, la Corse vit une année doublement historique. En effet, le 15 Août voit la naissance à Ajaccio du second fils de la famille Bonaparte. Mais surtout, l’île est envahie par les troupes de Louis XV. Elles mettent ainsi fin à quarante années de lutte pour l’indépendance conduite par Pasquale Paoli. 

Le point d’orgue de cette parenthèse de liberté fut la proclamation en 1755 de la Constitution Corse - première Constitution de l’ère moderne - qui quelques années plus tard servit de modèle aux jeunes Etats-Unis d’Amérique, puis à la France même… 

Lors de ces terribles combats de 1769, avec des forces en présence particulièrement déséquilibrées, les armées françaises ne reculent devant aucune brutalité et l’essentiel de plusieurs centaines de patriotes corses sont égorgés. Ghiovanni, le fiancé de Maria Ghjentile, fait partie des meneurs de ces partisans paolistes qui ne veulent sous aucun prétexte renoncer au rêve d’une île libérée des dominations extérieures, autrefois génoises, et ensuite françaises. 

Le sort réservé à ces hommes est d’une particulière cruauté : ils sont suppliciés, écartelés vifs, puis leurs corps sont abandonnés aux animaux sauvages.

Maria Ghjentile est alors à peine âgée d’une vingtaine d’années. Elle a soif d’absolu et vit une intense passion amoureuse avec Ghiovanni. Sa mort cruelle et l’insulte suprême faite à sa dépouille la transforment en guerrière. Au péril de sa vie, elle va de nuit déjouer la surveillance des gardes royalistes et récupérer la dépouille de son fiancé pour lui donner une sépulture digne. 

Mais contrairement à Antigone qui se suicide après avoir mis en terre son frère Polynice, Maria Ghjentile n’ira pas rejoindre Ghjuvanni dans la mort. Elle obtiendra miraculeusement d’être graciée, et continuera son combat. Comme souvent en Corse en cas de mort brutale du fiancé, Maria Ghjentile, femme de devoir mais femme libre, épousera le frère du malheureux, les mariages étant également des alliances entre familles. 

Maria Ghjentile est bel et bien Antigone, luttant pour que la justice des hommes soit à la hauteur de celle des Dieux. 

Mais une Antigone restée vivante. 

Et le miroir d’une île fière et rebelle.

Deux siècles plus tard, comme un lointain hommage en écho, la Corse sera dés 1943 le premier département français libéré. Cette libération saluée à Ajaccio par le Général de Gaule dès le 8 octobre a été acquise par la force et le courage de ses seuls habitants, et sans autre aide extérieure que celle des Goumiers marocains.

Conférence de clôture du festival Allez Savoir 2024 

Jouée, écrite par des hommes, la tragédie grecque présente beaucoup de femmes qui contestent violemment l’ordre établi, divin et humain : Hélène Clytemnestre, Cassandre, Hécube, Électre, Médée, les Danaïdes. Les fondements politiques, religieux et éthiques de la société sont fortement mis à mal par leurs actes. Personnage peut-être inventé par Sophocle, Antigone est un cas à part. Elle s’insurge contre une loi précise émise par son oncle Créon : l’interdiction d’enterrer son frère insurgé, Polynice, qui était venu avec une armée menacer sa propre ville. Cette loi ne faisait que reprendre un usage courant. Au nom de quoi Antigone mène-t-elle sa révolte, pour finir par se soumettre à sa condamnation, une fois son acte accompli ? Son argumentation change en fonction de la situation où on la somme de parler. Le nom d’Antigone veut dire « celle qui est née contre ». À qui, à quoi s’oppose-t-elle ?
 
Helléniste, Pierre Judet de la Combe a été directeur d’études à l'EHESS et directeur de recherche émérite au CNRS. Il est surtout connu pour son podcast « Quand les dieux rôdaient sur la Terre est diffusé sur France Inter depuis 2022

Antigone, rebelle contre quoi ? - Pierre Judet de la Combe

Eelco has been obsessed with music since a very young age. Like many Techno DJ’s he’s always had an eclectic taste in music that goes from metal to jazz to classical, drum & bass, hip hop, etc. He had an epiphany when he went to his first AWAKENINGS techno party in Amsterdam many years ago. Since then he’s been addicted to this pulsing sound. His favorite styles are Techno and Electro. “The first time I walked into a Warehouse. And FELT that hard Bass, sharp hi-hats, and hypnotizing techno sound, I knew I had come home. 
I want to spread my religious passion for the sounds of proper TECHNO!

Eelco自年少时就开始沉迷在音乐的世界当中，与许多Techno DJ一样，他有着自己不拘一格的品味，从金属到爵士，再到古典和鼓打贝斯等。20年前第一次参加Techno派对时，他感受到一种前所未有的顿悟，以至于不可自拔地爱上了这种声音。Techno与Electro是他最喜爱的音乐风格。
“当我第一次走进被低音填满的仓库，尖锐的镲声与令人着迷的Techno之声，我知道自已经回家了，我希望用我纯粹的热情来传播这特有的Techno之声！”
