Welcome, AI enthusiasts! It’s September sixth, two thousand twenty-four, and we have some exciting news in the world of Artificial Intelligence to share with you today.

First up, google deepmind reveals AlphaProteo. This groundbreaking AI system is designed to create custom proteins that bind to specific molecular targets. Early reports suggest that AlphaProteo outperforms existing methods by three to three hundred times in creating strong-binding proteins. It has shown potential to stop viruses like SARS-CoV-2 from infecting cells and can significantly speed up drug discovery. This could lead to new treatments for diseases like cancer with fewer side effects. 

Next, a new AI agent builds apps from prompts. Replit just launched the Replit Agent, which allows users to describe the application they want to build in natural language. This AI-powered tool generates a customizable plan and can even start coding the application. The agent selects the appropriate technologies and frameworks, making it easier for anyone, even beginners, to create functional apps just by describing their ideas.

In other news, find top prompts with Google's Prompt Gallery. This new feature offers a collection of pre-made prompts that enhance users' ability to create effective queries for the latest models using Google's AI. You can modify these prompts according to your needs and run them to get better, more refined AI-generated responses.

And if you thought we were done with gaming news, think again! AI creates an infinite Super Mario Bros game. Researchers developed an AI called MarioVGG that generates continuous gameplay footage based solely on text commands like “run” and “jump.” This model can simulate game physics and design new levels on the fly, promising limitless Mario adventures straight from your imagination.
