There's no better birthday present than releasing a new track for the occasion! This song plays when you are creating the character that you will play as for the rest of the game. I really think the song captures the exciting sense of anticipation and adventure that awaits you; I decided to take the Tim Follin approach of not caring whether the song feels like it's "too much", and I think it worked out for the best! This whole song is written in 9/4 time, which was quite interesting to approach from a songwriting perspective.

I managed to write this in half a day, which is practically a record for me. This song was intended to be reminiscent of The Steamworks Foundry, which includes quoting a bit of its theme in here. But this song is faster paced and really keeps the groove going as you fight your way through hordes of enemies!
