up all night
wasn't eating
sick if I tried
keep on breathing
living like a nightmare
hear those demons

and you thought
it was a good idea
to make a choice
like you couldn't hear
my soul ain't there
I'm filled with fear
I'm gone

I wasn't in my right mind
I didn't have no fighting chance
I tell you that I'm not good
and then you fuck me up instead

I didn't expect you to wait for me
guess I just hate to see
you with someone nowhere as good me
especially now that I got my sanity back
didn't expect you to do me like that

I was diagnosed with chronic anxiety
everything that you said felt like an attack on me
and finally the doctors
they came
and they saved me
and found out what was wrong
the problem all along

and they gave me some meds to help me sleep at night
and with that sleep, I started to breathe all right
and I stopped feeling that pain in my chest all tight
and I finally came back to life
just to find that you were no longer mine
