The second pre-release single from dear:D’s third full-length album Dance Till Sunrise, 〈Feel the Funk〉 strips away unnecessary weight and embraces the pure groove of funk.

Blending funk, pop, disco, house, and K-pop, the track bursts with neon-colored energy, its pulsing beats and catchy hook pulling listeners straight to the dance floor. The repeated chant “Feel the funk, get on the floor” becomes more than just a lyric — it’s an invitation to let go, move freely, and surrender to rhythm.

Rather than leaning on heavy layers or overstatement, the song shines in its simplicity: rhythm as joy, groove as freedom. With 〈Feel the Funk〉, dear:D shows us that music isn’t meant to be overthought — it’s meant to be felt, with the body, in the moment.

This mix explores the influences of Daft Punk using funky music from the 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's that influenced their biggest hit's.

For those who don't already know, Daft Punk are a French electronic music duo formed in Paris in 1993 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter.

Their popularity grew in the late 1990's as part of the French house movement, combining elements of house music with funk, techno, disco, rock, and synthpop.

They wear fancy helmets and gloves to assume robot personas.

This is a fan created mix with fan created artwork to celebrate the genius of Daft Punk and is free for everyone to listen to and enjoy.
