Las tumbas del ancestral cementerio de la comunidad afro de Roche, cerca del municipio de Barrancas, en el sur de La Guajira, están cubiertas de excremento de vaca. El camposanto se usó como corral para el ganado de la población cuando sus habitantes fueron desalojados del territorio por la empresa Carbones del Cerrejón. 

La siguiente obra sonora es un paisaje del fin, un viaje por el desastre, el caos y la creación que generan los procesos mineros. las disonancias son fruto y causa de la naturaleza destructora del hombre

Airplane and Other Useful Outdoor Stuff (2022, 8’ 05’’) is a stereophonic acousmatic pièce in which the materials are openly concrete sounds and are only partially processed by the electroacoustic possibilities, thus preserving an clear mimetic connection with the sound source.

However, some of these sounds are not from field recordings, but are created in the studio and present themselves as an "imitation" of concrete sounds, an "imitation" that finds itself in dialogue with other more "realistic" sound objects. In the listening space (a mobile but ultimately habitable space) concrete sounds and electronic sounds therefore find an opportunity for comparison.

The whole pièce is therefore a verification of the possibilities of building a narrative process starting from the syntactic organization of sound elements that exchange their sign function on several occasions.

The pièce also investigates the possibilities of defining the space that each object possesses, a real and imaginary space at the same time; it is a mass of fragments, disordered and vital, of "what is outside", or, more likely, it is a representation of "what is inside" the memory of its author, a simultaneous meeting of places and situations, of naturalistic sounds, anthropic and mechanical ones, and perhaps it is the description of all those elements that could be encountered in a hypothetical journey between a remote island and an unspecified destination.

Relative Present (2023, 12' 08'') is a stereophonic acousmatic piece.

The work, halfway between soundscape, field recording and acousmatic music, is inspired by the idea of the extended present, here declined in a real possibility of simultaneously proposing "soundscapes" distant from each other in space-time.

The illusion of being able to cancel temporal and physical distances is made possible by the compositional practice, which starts from a research and selection of materials present in the author's personal sound archive.

The sound events are not resolved only in a naturalistic approach, but also involve other aspects, perhaps typical, of contemporay Western society (coexistence of different natural languages, recurring festivals and related celebrations, "technophonies" etc.) They take shape accompanied by original sound objects that represent the "voice", the personal "timbre" of the author, and which act as a counterpoint to the sounds organized in the montage.

The heterogeneous influences of this work have the task of making audible above all those cultural relationships that permeate the everyday life in which we experience sound.
