My last hurrah (*for now) at the BlackBird RedRose studio in Frome.

A live recording of my debut Sunday session at EDUK, with 2 waves of afro-inspired music from around the world. The music range brings in both current and nostalgic sounds, as well as some remixes of classic tracks, so enjoy this set and embrace the journey of conscious dance.

The session was supported by Oya 'Unapologetically Black' who grounded us with a warm up, as well as closed the dance.

Breathing Between Worlds is a slow, ceremonial journey through the spaces between earth and ether. Hand-played percussion and warm organic bass ground the body, while airy textures, drifting pads, and breathlike melodies lift the spirit into spaciousness.

The track moves like wind over desert sands ~ a gentle migration from curiosity to surrender, from searching to arriving. Each layer invites deeper embodiment: drums for the root, breath for the heart, light-filled atmospheres for the crown.

By the end, we're hovering in that quiet place between worlds… not fully dancing, not fully meditating ~ liminal bliss.

If it moves you, breathe with it. Move with it. Let it open the space inside you.

| ORGASMIC DANCE | Tantalising Journey of Bliss and Liberation | 24.10.25

2025 didn’t start gently.
In January, a cycling accident left me with 11 fractured vertebrae, 10 broken ribs, fractures to both collarbones and both scapulae, and a punctured lung. A week in hospital. A body that felt foreign. And grace guiding me through my own healing initiation.

What most people don’t know is that the journey to the inaugural Dance Church - Adelaide wasn’t simple either.
My Kawai stage piano was severely damaged flying home from Costa Rica. Because there’s only one technician in Adelaide and there was a massive post-Covid backlog — it took over a year to repair. Then I broke my back. Then I waited for the right venue. It felt like one block after another, like the universe was clearing the path in slow motion.

But in perfect timing, everything aligned.
I finally had my piano back, my body back, and the right space to bring this vision to life.
To not only DJ, but to perform a full hybrid set with piano, drums, didgeridoo, live improvisation. After the year I’d had… that felt like a breakthrough. A reclamation. A creative resurrection.

The day itself unfolded like it was blessed.
Weather perfect. Community buzzing. New dancers breaking through old stories. People telling me it was exactly what they needed. We danced barefoot on the grass at Linde Reserve with birds singing, the sun glowing, and a field of beautiful humans supporting the moment.

The set is a journey — beginning with 35 minutes of meditation to land in the body, soften the edges, and settle the nervous system. From there it moves through organic house, deep grooves, melodic and progressive rhythms, flashes of tech house and techno, and finally a full-hearted lift into liquid drum & bass. A blend of DJing and live performance, ceremony and celebration, structure and improvisation.

After the chaos of the year, this day marked something important.
A reminder that even when everything falls apart, something deeper is forming underneath.
The body heals. Creativity returns. Visions held with patience eventually become reality.

I’m grateful to everyone who danced, encouraged, and supported this.
This mix is for you, and for anyone who needs a moment of movement, reconnection, and breath.
