Connection. with Mridu - Ecstatic Dance 04/24 Athens

I played this set on April 26th 2024 at RtR Ecstatic Dance, the music was accompanied with live percussion and didgeridoo by Shaker Trance (aka Ash Bigdeli & Friends) Collective and I believe it was a fun dance, thanks for those who brightened the dance floor with their presence.

Rhythm and Dedication - Conscious Dance Practice - RtR - April-26-2024

The Ecstatic Dance session was designed to guide participants through a series of movements aimed at promoting self-discovery and inner transformation. By incorporating elements of meditation and movement, the dance served as a powerful tool for participants of a 10-day Tantra training with our teachers, Homa and Mukto to explore their inner selves and connect with their emotions on a deeper level.

Mridu's guidance during the session was focused on facilitating a mind-body connection through gentle yet deliberate movements. By encouraging participants to explore fluid and expressive motions, he aimed to help them release tension and emotional blockages stored in the body.

Ecstatic Dance with Mridu @ Tantra Training w/ Homa & Mukto, 05.2024 Afroz, Eressos, Lesvos

The theme of the beautiful Cacao Ecstatic Dance session was "Believe in Yourself." We all sat in a circle, set intentions, and drank cacao. Then Mridu guided a "From Separation to Unity" Heart Consciousness Evolution session, a journey that took us from stillness to the unity of dance, a transformation we all experienced.

It was a profound and gentle Ecstatic Dance session, filled with flow and presence. A resounding YES to the Cretan Community for their enthusiastic participation and deep dive into the rhythms.

Believe in YourSelf - Cacao Ecstatic Dance with Mridu @ Villa Melodia, Apokoronas, Crete - 08.24

This wave was played during my timeslot at the Dance for Peace fundraiser, a 24-hour online dance marathon that united hearts and rhythms across the globe. Co-created with Shauna Devlin, the event featured 24 amazing movement facilitators, each leading a unique 50-minute session with a 10-minute transition, weaving a seamless journey of music, movement, and mindfulness.
Together, we exceeded our goal, raising $12,384 for Doctors Without Borders through the collective energy of dancers, listeners, and supporters. Every beat, every step, and every contribution made an impact! 
We raised $12,384 f for Doctors Without Boarders and brought movement, joy, release and deep connection across the globe. Shauna was present for the whole 24 hours and I was there for 20 hours and 30 minutes, the whole time dancing, admitting people, sending thank you notes to the new donors and communicating with teachers, with a BIG SMILE on both our faces! WE DID IT!!

On the Purge - Spring Equinox - Conscious Movement Practice Wave - RtR - March 21st, 2025

The artwork for this mix is a photo of the interactive canvas altar we co-created together during the July New Moon Ride the Rhythm. Throughout the evening, dancers were invited to paint, write, and mark the canvas with whatever moved through them: emotion, energy, memory, intention.

This living altar became a visual reflection of our shared experience, an imprint of movement, presence, and collective expression. Each line, color, and symbol carries the pulse of that night’s dance.

RAGING - Conscious Movement Practice Wave- RtR-September 2 , 2025

Ecstatic Radiance is a Community Healing Movement inspired by Mridu. 

Mridu is a somatic therapist & ecstatic dance DJ, at Ecstatic Radiance, he shares the healing gift of dance as a meditation, together with friends, they co-create and share the gift of healing and transformation. Music, Conscious Movement, Ecstatic Dance are some of the tools, together with  Celebration & Meditation.

𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐭𝐢 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐢 is a movement facilitator, DJ, conscious dancers and curator of conscious dance experiences. She is the visionary behind 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐡𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐦 (𝐑𝐭𝐑), a space where music, movement, and mindfulness merge into a journey of self-expression and connection.

Hassti believes in the transformative power of rhythm and ritual. Through Ride the Rhythm and her musical offerings, she invites people to release stress, ease anxiety, and reconnect with their bodies in a supportive and uplifting environment. She cultivates a space where freedom of expression thrives, allowing people to show up authentically and deepen their connection with themselves and other dancers.
